If you look in the credits you will notice that Layne Stein, beat boxer from Voice Play, helped with the arrangement of this one( yes, Home Free and Voice Play are good friends, very supportive of each other (despite their different styles and approaches to acapella music) and share a similar sense of humor). Voice Play and Home Free competed against each other on season 4 of the 'Sing Off' in 2013 and became good friends when they toured together on the "Sing Off' tour after the show ended. Geoff Castellucci, bass singer for Voice Play, helped Home Free with their arrangement of "Elvira" with the Oak Ridge Boys. I think you would really enjoy Voice Play and Home Free together in "Survivor: Zombies Vs Hillbillies" that they did live together on the 'Sing Off' tour.

"Bro Country ACA Top 10" Chris Rupp did with Voiceplay. Both live versions of Elvira by VP and HF are hilarious audience participation pieces in opposite ways, VP up with riffs and HF down with shaking speakers.

You see serious songs then one like this one, then one with a great lesson in it, you get the same thing when you see them live! Yes they are as good live as they are recorded! Other great songs/videos on the "silly" side from Home Free: -- "All About That Bass" -- "Champagne Taste (On A Beer Budget)", which Tim wrote somewhat against his will -- "Workin' For A Livin'", a Huey Lewis cover...not a silly song, but the video was an "Anchorman" tribute where they were super silly. (Great nomonica solo from Adam in that one, too.)

I believe originally Fat Bottomed Girls was intended to last longer - there are a number of points in it that don't quite fit.

The first 10 times that you watch this, you can't stop laughing.... THEN you notice the skills that they all have. Not just the vocals, but the arrangement and how they weave all the songs INTO each other, using 1 for the background for another while teasing a third.... and so on. Oh, and all the while, not objectifying the women in the video... No women's butts were highlighted in this whole video. The women were there to watch the spectacle that is Home Free.

Great reaction! This is such a fun mashup of songs. Very cleverly done from one song to another. The talent these guys have is phenomenal. They have so much fun but the vocals never suffer. And Adam's beatboxing is on another level. Home Free was very respectful in this video about not exploiting or offending any women.

Another great reaction to another great mashup by our boys. You look like you were blushing all through this one. That's one way to stay warm on a cold day. Same up here. Cold, negative and single digit temperatures. Got the coffee going. Will be drinking a lot of coffee today. This would be a great day to do some painting but just not that motivated to paint today. Thanks for your great reactions! Just subbed tonight, watched you do several of Home Free's. They are my guys and about all I ever watch! Been to 7 live shows of theirs. This song was always a crowd favorite! They start it out saying how much they respect women's curves! And if you notice, they never show any of the women's "butts" (sorry!) in the video. They just don't go there. Be sure to watch Country Fried Pop if you haven't yet. It is an incredible mashup Austin arranged of 17 pop songs by 15 artists. Incredible and fun too! Take care.

We certainly don't say "slap your grandma" where I'm from, and I've definitely seen some confusion in reactions (perhaps akin to "what's a honky-tonk?" from one or two Brits), but I did suss out pretty quickly it must mean "do something inconceivable", like eating your hat, only more colorful.

@@uosuaq it’s usually (where I am from and my family tree -southern Arkansas, Western Oklahoma, parts of the Texas panhandle) used when you are trying to explain why something is really good. While we’d never truly slap any elder, it’s just an ‘umph’ to the statement if that makes sense? Moving to STL from western Oklahoma, I think I confunded quite a few people with my sayings or particular wording. (I lasted 11 months up there and definitely needed home 😉)

As always you are so cute and fun! Thank you for sharing this journey with us. Butts have never been so classy. If you feel like more giggles, April 1 2021 HF released 3 new amazing songs. One was Bohemian Rhapsody. All the reactors lined up to be the first to review it. Look it up to see what our boys did to their fans. Only the short 1 min version is still out there but the original was 6 minutes! Other fun giggles are All About That Base (watch the original first since this is a tasteful parody), Country Fried Pop is giggle worthy, Quarantine got us through the worst of the lock downs and of course Brother is Adam Rupp's Larping masterpiece. Oh, and for 13 minutes of constant giggles, try HF's guilty pleasures hilariously derailed. The version with Austin in a lightning shirt in Texas is the best one. You are the best!
