The Home Free guys themselves have doted on Rob's voice being the sweetest tenor voice they've ever heard. I agree. Austin is a powerful tenor and can belt those high notes, but Rob's tone is the sweetest.

I agree. Rob's voice is sweet, Austin's is Bright, Chance's is warm, Tim's is dark (when he wants it to be) and Adam's is sincere.

Rob is always a SOLID force within the group. But this time we got to hear such a crisp, clear tone in that falsetto! We usually just figure Austin is going to grab those high notes. They made the perfect choice in having Rob lead this one! It took me several times to be able to watch this and not be distracted from the vocal by the video. Only Home Free can take a fairly serious song and pair it with the hilarity of this video and make it seem normal! The fact that they're all so versatile keeps us on our toes because we never know what they're up to and who's going to do what! The only certainty is that it'll always be amazing! ❤

Be on the lookout for a new video coming from Austin soon that features Rob. We've been teased that it we've never heard Rob sing like this before.

That falsetto of Rob's is gorgeous. Tim has said that Rob has one of the purest tenor voices around, and he is right. They are like artists painting a picture; they pick just the right brush to achieve the effect they want. Rob is definitely right for this one. Cute video, pretty song, good message....good reaction. Amberly cracks me up with her reaction to Austin and Rob's theatrics. Boys never really grow up.😏

Love this!!! Home Free has done it again. Everyone has their place & they know what each of them are doing & thinking. When I saw this, one of the first things I thought of is we should be there for each other, stand by each other, help whenever we can. Then I thought of how HF has their way of knowing who should sing lead, or backup. It shows that Adam is the heartbeat, pulse. It takes all of HF to make any song Jell.

My neighbour belongs to a Canadian chapter of the SCA (Society for Creative Anachronism) and I think the 'weapons' they're using are the same sort that the SCA uses. I love this song & it's message - the singing is sensational as always. I think you need to watch this more than once to take in the backgrounds - parked cars, traffic on the road, various people just watching! The woman who clubs Austin is his girlfriend/partner Amberlee and I think I saw Rob's wife there too, as well as some of their crew members. I think Adam Rupp needs to put out a beatboxing fitness video - he's in great shape!

mmm, one of my House suggested that, but they seem more like oversized boffer equipment and swords than those actually used at war . . . The arrows did look like those used in battle, though.

This beauty had everything. Chance starting it out with that lovely, smoky voice portraying a weary warrior, Rob coming in with that sweet voice for the positivity, Austin with that strong clear sound bringing strength to the battle, Tim's beautiful bass foundation supporting them all, and Adam's creative beat boxing driving them forward. Beautiful song with beautiful lyrics. There were funny elements, there were sweet, adorable elements, there were bonds of brotherhood elements and epic hero elements. I loved that my guy, Adam got to be the hero. They all did amazing in an extreme heat wave while recording the video to get this done. Home Free consider themselves brothers so quite appropriate. Thanks for your usual wonderful reaction.

Home Free=Brotherhood=5Brothers💖 Really, this is so awesome!!!! So cool and funny but at the same time so sweet !! Beautiful how they are dressed up, all one by one fabulous. What a beautiful start from Chance with a voice so smooth and sexy. 😊 And even though it looked cool, it was almost a shame that you didn't see his face through that helmet for a while. Then our soulful Rob, the teddy bear with his beautiful voice as soft as silk, sweet and his very high note!! ❤ Who sings while lying down and later received a sweet kiss on his injured finger from Tim.😂 Tim with his beautiful pathetic dragon and who with his bass could have knocked everyone down in my opinion. 😉😅 Austin with his amazing moves and a voice just like he looked. And I think Amberly loved knocking him down. 😆 Then Adam Rupp, who I think has always been magical with his vocal percussion/vocal sounds, but proved once again that he is The Magier and the glue of Home Free. He was incredible and handsome again.😍 A song so beautifully sung and will definitely be on my playlist of favorite songs

Love this video!!! D&D come to life with a touch of Star Wars, Braveheart and LOTRS. I'll bet Adam had enjoyed the hell out of himself making this video. Glad he got to be the hero. I agree with you, i think Rob and Chance are often overlooked in their talent. But I also think that there is a total lack of ego among the entire group, they seem to really respect each other. Gotta love them.

In an interview about this song,Tim was asked how they decide who sings lead. He said for a lot of songs,they all record the song,then decide as a group who did it best and that's the lead. Rob was the first to record. Tim said they heard it and he blew it away. No one else recorded lead because Rob had it. Would love to see your reaction to it.

Agree with you 100%. The whole group is amazing but there's just something about Rob I love. He can sang (not sing) anything! I can't get enough of this song and video. This one tops them all! I don’t know how they consistently top themselves with every video (especially since COVID), but they do! The song they covered here has a great message that everyone in the world should here and follow. I immediately thought of Home Free guys’ brotherhood when I first saw this. Love the video! Some funny stuff in there! Love that Adam must have been over the moon to do this one, too! Regarding Rob’s vocals, I agree. I think he has evolved in a big way starting with their cover of “End of the Road”. Since then he’s really sounding better than ever! Love them all, though!

You were at Redding? How special was that show? I had a ticket and a motel room lined up for a nap until my bus back to Sacramento. Only the damn Greyhound bus got cancelled (they're finally admitting that after a couple dozen phone calls and online back and forth) before it even got to the station and NO ONE was told. I sat in the Greyhound station for over 11 hours until it got too late to make it anyway, not having eaten all day, which means I have NONE of my needed medications. I have a ticket for the Stockton show and went out and got transport with Amtrak, cancelling that trips Greyhound tickets. I will NEVER go to Greyhound again, even if it means giving up my trips home to San Francisco. SCREW GREYHOUND!!!!

Every single member of Home Free brings something unique and brilliant to the mix. There is nothing about this video that I don't love - all the vocals, the hilarious bits, the inspirational message, and of course my hero Adam Rupp saving the day. Completely agree. Rob is my favorite. I was first blown away by Tim's deep voice, and Adam's beat boxing, and Chance and Austin are both exceptional singers. But there is something about Rob's voice, the clarity, the tone, that always moves me. And I like all their personalities, but again, there is just something about Rob. Yeah, Rob's my man. I always watch for him in this video, dead, I assume, on the ground. but still singing. It amuses me.

You are dead on about Rob - he has such a clear and beautiful tone . This video made my D&D heart happy - I started playing D&D in the 80's lol.

These guys are redunkulous. They always seem like they are having so much fun and also that they genuinely love to be together.

One of my favorites of Home Free. As soon as I saw the video I couldn’t wait for your reaction. Chance was amazing. Rob just always on point. And Adam holy cow.

It makes me so happy that you never trap them into the a capella genre only. I know that's their chosen genre and they're masters at it, but they're so much more than that, each individual, and you're the only reactor that consistently acknowledges that. It kinda drives me nuts when people say, "they're one of the best... in a capella". They are "pros" in every genre; yes, even with instruments. So, thank you!

And I agree with you…Tim and Austin get a lot of attention but Rob’s voice is so pure and pleasing to the ear. Austin is from Lord of the Rings, Adam Chance is The Mandilorian, Rob is Braveheart, Adam Rupp is a Mage from Dungeons and Dragons, and Tim is from a movie The Last Dragon (not the martial arts movie).

100% agree, they are all phenomenal, but Rob's sweet tenor elevates the bar and wraps you in a warm hug.

Each member of HF is great, in their own individual ways, but together are phenomenal. True musical synergy. So you have a favorite; Rob deserves the kudos and love you give him. And his falsetto is so beautiful and clear!

These guys ALWAYS come with it -- I don't think I have a favorite vocal-wise, although I totally agree about Rob's sweet tenor. Love their sense of humor. The female elf was Austin's fiancee Amberly. She was hilarious with her expression when Austin stops fighting and goes to Rob after he gets hit.
