Linda, I live in Staffordshire in the UK, the county in which your new china was produced, but have never seen the square plate design before. They are lovely, and it’s great to see something from my ‘home’ so appreciated in yours. If you ever buy any English Crystal, it’s likely to have been made about five miles from my home. Such a proud tradition here. I would be fascinated to share in the process involved in purchasing and refurbishing a new home, if Ben and Willow could bear the intrusion!

Linda, it is so refreshing to watch someone who enjoys making her home beautiful. In my area it is a lost art. 😕 I also like the fact that you enjoy doing it with reasonably-priced finds. I think finding the right piece of land is most important and with a home you may be able to make your very own. The right home with potential and a great piece of land would be oh so much better than building a new home. Newer homes lack character and lumber is so very expensive now. I would love to watch you and Ben find just the right place and make it your forever home...for a while anyway. Blessings

LINDA, I discovered your channel months ago, have watched you redo Sugarwood and now your beautiful new home and I have to say I have become obsessed with New England and New England Fine Living. I love your attention to detail and how you enjoy your home and surroundings. You put the "Fine Living" in New England Living. I few yrs ago, I needed to downsize from a large home and gardens to a 2 Bedroom and 1 1/2 bath condo where I can enjoy my small gardens. Not only did I have to downsize my home but I had to downsize me. I quickly found that a small place can still have "fine living" on a very small area. I am also obsessed with thrifting, never saw a dish I didn't like. I did find some extra storage space to rent for my Christmas decorations and glassware. Where there's a will, there's a way.
