I've actually noticed that in all sorts of pre-digital cartoons since I could remember. But, for this animation in particular, I didn't even notice until I read your comment. Seems they didn't quite shake the screen enough ...

Imagine if this is how the final episode of AoSTH ended. Robotnik would _literally_ be home by Christmas, since Sonic Christmas Blast was released much later.

@@johnnygyro2295 in the archie comics (one of its arcs anyway) that more or less what happens. they think they destroyed robotnik. Snively takes over his robots and stuff (alluded to in Sat'AM's end) but he was just sent to a parallel universe, and the him from there helps him return.

It isn't that he hates them. They just annoy and aggravate him. He knows they're borderline useless, but there's definitely a sense of attachment. He doesn't view them as machines, but as people. He may be a villain, but he isn't completely evil.

The ending to the true final episode of AOSTH where Robotnik invents an multiuniversal portal device using a giant ring. After being used as guinea pigs for the last time, Scratch, Grounder, including Coconuts who were overdue for their own vacation teamed up with Sonic and Tails to destroy the device, but not before sucking Robotnik into it.

Although no official soundtracks have been released for any of DiC's Nintendo/Sega TV series (and going by AoStH Volume 2's DVD off memory, it's probable those original tracks are lost), fans have attempted to piece together whatever tracks they can, going off whatever scenes in whatever episodes they play uninterrupted in. The many versions of Dr. Robotnik's theme have been used many times throughout the span of AoStH's run that near-perfect clean cuts were able to be constructed.

This gave me reason to think that the heyday of animation in the 90s was due to the fact that the creators were inspired by the plot and style of cartoons of the 40s. And maybe in the near future there will be a new renaissance in which animation of the 90s will be inspired.

Whoever the VA was in this (either you or someone else) did a really good job getting close to the original. Even more surprising is this animation. Uncanny that it's exactly like the old cartoon.

Excellent work! Sega needs to hire you the voice work for Robotnik just on case Mike Pollock doesn't wanna do it anymore. This Long John Baldry expression mixed on with some Deem Bristow would work perfectly & bring the serious edge back to Robotnik. I love it.

I'd call it adaptation as there are some changes in dialogue and action. Brilliant job and that is all that matters.

“ROCK-onnaissance” lol! This show was a big part of my early childhood. I have much nostalgia for this show. I used to have it on DVD’s and watch it all of the time, even watching episodes on KZread!

I don't know if there's one seriously talented unknown animator behind this channel, or a team of industry professionals having a lark. Hard to say.

The creators of the adventures of sonic the hedgehog really should have made a perfect two part season finale that had this final scene in it. It would've really send the series out with a bang. A man can only dream.

Jokes aside, this is really well-done. It matches the vibe of AoStH perfectly, with the animation and the voice. It took me a moment to realize this wasn't animation from the original show! Very good, I'm impressed, you have earned subscriber lfkdjgflk

FlippinDingDong is, BY FAR, one of the most underrated channels on youtube. He puts out fukkin masterpiece level art, and maybe a small % of people ever actually see it. It's criminal, I tell you!

I thought it was official and a high quality rip until I read the comments, well done!

I thought this was a modification, like taking segments of Robotnik's animation from various episodes and splicing them in. It's so surreal, it looks like the official animation/art

This is incredible. I love how you even got the shake-ey film look down. It's rare that you see that in today's animation, especially ones that are fanmade.

On one hand, the animation and impression is great... on the other hand, if the world wars have taught me anything, it’s that ‘home by christmas’ is delusion at best :p

When I first discovered this on Twitter, my first thought is that this was unused footage from the show that has been recently discovered and remastered! This is incredible work, you've put such great effort into it! It's one of your best masterpieces in my opinion!

AOSTH’s Robotnik’s Design is Outlandishly Ridiculous and Mildly Hilarious! SatAM’s Robotnik’s Design is Demonically Creepy, Super Serious and Undeniably Edgy! Hard to believe that the latter is slightly based off the former!
