The actor who played Marv said that after he did that scene and fell to the ground, he was waiting for the director to yell "cut" but it never happened. He looked over at the directors chair but the director wasn't in it. The director had begun laughing so hard he fell out of his chair and was rolling on the ground 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Him survive with some bricks on his head, a fall of like 50-80 meter and one home steam iron on the first movie (same one pin on his feet like Jesus Christ). This 2 guy were immortal. On this trap you can see how Kevin was happy to up the voltage just for kill him much faster as he can. Can't blame someone accept the theory about Kevin is Saw on his final days.

Such a hilarous scene. Love how they even added a skeleton. It's honestly very difficult to find any humorous Christmas movie classics or Christmas movies created in general like this one that don't over do it. It's a movie with humor, but yet emotion. Giving you a true meaning for Christmas in a sense, which is love, and to enjoy it to the fullest with those you love, thankful and not take things for granted. A movie that is truly unforgettable and personally in my opinion the best movie out of all the Home Alone movies. One with humor, emotion, and yet meaning. Of course, the first one is also amazing, and the one that started it all, both are perfect, but I would still rank this first because they honestly nailed it once again which even today is something very difficult to do when a sequel comes out or when they have to create a new story. Such a great movie & what a cast they had, especially the number of icons as well as legends they had. Truly unforgettable and always worth a watch. Of course, there are always jokes of it, like that Kevin could have always phoned the police at any time, and all his troubles would of been gone, but that's what makes this movie unique and funny. We got to experience his journey throughout all the hilarious, meaningful movies. Glad to have watched this once again, especially with my twin brother which has always been a tradition of ours to pick out a movie to watch on Christmas. 12.26.22.

Easily the funniest scene in the movie. The brick scene is technically more lethal but this one by far is the most graphic.

We took our grandparents to see this with us on Christmas Day back in 92’ and dad said he had never ever seen my grandfather laugh so hard in his life

As kids this used to crack my little sister and I up when this came out in 1990. Being a kid back then was magical.

0:59 All the way in the left, is director Chris Columbus, he said in the documentary that he was trying not to laugh while filming, but you can kinda hear him giggle.

Home Alone 2 is the first Home Alone movie I ever saw. Back in the early 90’s I had a neighbour who rented it out on VHS and they asked me if I wanted to watch it with them. I was around 5 - 6 years old. I said yeah sure. I went over there and when this scene came on I laughed so hard. Even when the tool chest scene OMG. I couldn’t stop laughing.

When I was a kid this scene killed me everytime 🤣

I heard the whole electrocution angle was filmed on one take. John Hughes was laughing so hard at Stern's reactions and screams he couldn't say "CUT!" so they went with it.

I watched this movie in the military barracks. I was performing military service, then this man started screaming from the electric shock, the TV was loud, the officer came and told us in a loud voice, lower the volume 😂😂

And as a 90s kid, I wonder why no died in this scene

I once saw a video counting down the number of times in both movies that Harry and Marv would have been killed in real life: The finally tally was, if I remember, that Harry would have been killed nine times, and Marv would have been killed thirteen times (The higher number for Marv was due to the scene in 2 with Kevin throwing bricks at him from atop the roof; In real life, if even just one of those bricks had hit Marv the way they did in the movie, his brains would have been all over the sidewalk).
