I wept for Peter during ur beautiful video today because I, too, am so much like Peter. We have all fallen short of what's best and most needed, but God's beautiful grace scoops our broken hearts off the floor and reminds us He loves us. Thank u for today's message. Saint Peter, please intercede for us and the whole world.

What an inspiring reflection of God's grace. The connection between Jesus and Peter. I don't think I've ever heard this before. It makes my past life more clear to me. I was at a distance so far from Jesus that even when I called His name for help he didn't hear me. I'm so thankful that I walk closer now. Not perfect yet but getting better. Oh this was good!- we surely can’t last a lifetime without the Grace of God! Praying to follow near him, in him; not at a distance. I love the explanation on how he Peter received the special Grace internally, moving him to repentance. Excellent video you two!!! 👏👏👏. I love the things that you do with your children and especially during Holy week! Janelle, you have made so many precious memories for your children! ❤️ I agree Ken, the church is going through its own passion. "Lord, forgive us for we know not what we do." 😢💔

1)Satan wants to sift us. 2)Jesus has prayed for us specifically;He looked at us, His gaze fell on us. 3)Peter has a special place, primacy among the apostles. The Church will fail us, leaders will fail us, we will fail as a part of the Church, but Peter sets the example: after our failure, God can work despite us because God's gaze is on us. We have to live in divine grace instead of our own prideful works. THANK YOU FOR THIS! How often I follow at a distance, but need to recognize my own weakness, be still, and know that God's gaze is on me and He wants me to look at what He's doing, not what I am doing.

The words of St Ambrose are so lovely. I know I have sinned often and probably unknowingly still sin. I won’t even imagine looking into the eyes of our Lord when He looks at me. I am too sick in my soul to be worthy to cast my gaze upon our Lord, especially during this time of Holy Week. I caused the suffering He endures for me. I will be accountable for my sins so I see myself as having caused His suffering which is always beyond my knowledge.

Reminded me of why our Faith has to be based on so much more than an infrequent spiritual "high". Thats exactly what the Protestant Churches are trying to keep going with their big screens and sound systems. Not to mention the coffee drink bars. I realize this has become the modern world of always having to be entertained. I couldn't help but think how much God loves us to include so many betrayals in scripture. Yet, He's always ready to reconcile with us No Matter What. Even to the point of raising us to a higher union of love with Him, in Him, and through Him, than we ever imagined. That's the spiritual high I want. 🙌💕 Thank you Ken! 🙏🤲🙏💝

Mary , the major difference here is that Simon Barjonah , PETER SAW he SAW , he EXPERIENCED what The Christ The Son of The Living Father did . He was THERE and that is what makes his sins , his DENIALS , moreso. I Am too old , at least chronologically , but I have that childlike tendency Jesus The Christ spoke of down pat . Needed His Intervention and STILL do as , ALL here in this wretched relam / world need Him . At least those who are not evil through and through . Sorry , I Am ... 🙏 ❤

I've read this scripture countless times and the only thing that stood out was Peters denial and how he wept bitterly. You pointed out how he was the only one who followed Jesus as the others fled. I overlooked that fact.m which I believe is significant thank you!

We can’t forget that he did not received the holly spirit yet 😢🙏🏻
