I fear I have committed THE unforgivable sin and I don't know what to do. I don't want to ever commit such a sin and my scrupulosity has gotten out of hand. I want to be scared but at the same time I feel numb and hopeless

Sir, no sin is unforgivable as long as you have the courage to go to the Lord for forgiveness.

Just go make a good confession and resolve to never commit that sin again. The Lord will forgive any sin that we truly repent of, His love and mercy are endless. Confession makes us stronger in combatting our sins, it is a form of exorcism and sin is a sort of possession. If you are given a penance that is too lenient relative to your sin, you can ask your confessor for a more difficult penance. I did not know the above when I confessed a very grave sin, and consequently suffered from scrupulosity also. When I heard Fr. Ripperger talk about confession, I was finally able to let go of my scrupulosity. Hope that helps.

I as a christian 100% submit to this creed… but when they said hold to the Catholic faith, meaning the UNIVERSAL faith, didn’t mean what the catholic church teaches today… it meat as it is stated in the creed: “and the Catholic faith is this:” - and speaks about trinity and christ’s attonement for our sins. I 100% agree with all of this creed, but not with all that Catholic church preaches today…

I wonder why so so many priests will never say what this priest said. Unless u believe and accept ALL the tenets of the Catholic Faith, you will send yourself to hell. It's very simple and clear.

Because this Creed is full of contradictions.

Isn't God all knowing? Doesn't He know who we're referring to when we confess "Jesus is Lord"? So churches of men, consider the meanings of "no one knows who The Son is except The Father nor does no one know who The Father is except The Son, and those to whom The Son reveals Him to", consider why there's a wide door and every church or almost every embracing the doctrines and traditions of men passed down by your forefathers, such as trinity. Let it be stated and set forth today, whether you will hear or forbear. There is but one confession He's pleased in as there is but One God, hear the Word of the Lord spoken to this generation. From His Volumes of Truth: "There is one God and Father, one Lord who causes to be - YAHUWAH. There is one Savior, The Only Begotten of The Father, by whom all things consist - YAHUSHUA. And they are ONE. If then there is only one Lord, one God and one Savior, and in our language He is called “Lord” and “God”, then would not calling anyone or anything else “Lord” or “God”, whether a false god or a man, be blasphemy? Does not The Lord Himself search our hearts and minds, even our innermost thoughts and intentions? Does He not know who we are referring to, when we say “Jesus is Lord”? KZread controls which ads play. And they're not "Jewish" ads, they're Christian. Scripture says the Jews will receive the Gospel and be saved through Jesus Christ, but the gentiles will lose the Faith. Pray for your children and your children's children!

Brother to b a Christian means we must love our lost brothers the Jews. In the end it will all make sense but it clearly stated by God to us his other followers period.

@@mdm5287 Our dear Lord loves all His creatures, of which you are one. The more you are like Him, like His Son, the more He will love you. God is NOT colour conscious like you are. This is shocking perhaps to you, but you must open your heart and allow it to become colour blind. Jesus was a Jew. If your heart isn't open in this life, it will have the time to become so in the cleasing and painful fires of purgatory. But, you should known this Truth: Not one of us will enter heaven until we are perfect as the Father is perfect. Take care . Pax.

@@kimfleury Jews denied Jesus Christ and did NOT receive Gospel. How does ANYONE be saved without coming to Jesus Christ as THE MESSIAH/Savior??? Jews lost faith, gentiles lost faith, and people like you remain ignorant while thinking you know Scripture. And, on Calvary, Jesus told women from Jerusalem not to cry for him but for their JEWISH daughters/Jerusalem. Geez.
