On Monday, June 4, on the Feast of the Holy Spirit, annual festivities were held in Jordanville, New York for the feast day of Holy Trinity Monastery. Although the monastery's feast day is actually held the day before, on Trinity Sunday, many clergy and faithful have begun coming to Jordanville the following day, having marked the Pentecost in their home parishes.
В понедельник 4 июня в праздник Святого Духа в Джорданвилле, шт. Нью-Йорк прошли ежегодные торжества по случаю престольного праздника Св. Троицкого монастыря. Хотя престольный праздник обители отмечается на день раньше -- в праздник Св. Троицы, по сложившемуся обычаю многие представители духовенства и мирян прибыли в обитель на следующий день, отслужив Троицу у себя на приходе.

huh, we are not protestants, we are the orthodox church
this is repugnant is God's sight. It is the equivelant of Nadab and Abihu offering strange fire before the Lord. Worship is to be regulated by God in His word, not the imaginations of men.
