On Thursday, May 17, on the day of the fifth anniversary of the signing of the Act of Canonical Communion between the Moscow Patriarchate and the Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia, the Administrator of the Patriarchal Parishes in the USA, His Eminence Justinian, Archbishop of Naro-Fominsk, celebrated the Divine Liturgy in St. Nicholas Patriarchal Cathedral in New York City, concelebrated by Their Graces, Eastern American Diocesan vicar Bishops George of Mayfield and Jerome of Manhattan. В четверг 17 мая, в день пятилетия со дня подписания Акта о каноническом общении между Московским Патриархатом и Русской Православной Церковью Заграницей в Николаевском Патриаршем соборе гор. Нью-Йорк Управляющий Патриаршими приходами в США, Высокопреосвященнейший архиепископ Наро-Фоминский Юстиниан, в сослужении викариев Восточно-Американской епархии РПЦЗ Преосвященнейших епископов Мэйфильдского Георгия и Манхеттенского Иеронима совершил Божественную литургию. We do not worship the word of God, but Christ our God. As you would know if you read the lives of the martyrs, the body does nothing without the soul, and so we worship God with our whole beings, not just the mind. The whole man is to pray before God. Why would we fill our books with heresy when we have Christ, who is the Truth incarnate? The Gospels may be read and applied, and unlike Islam, effect an inner change upon the hearts of men, and bring us back to the Father. Christ is risen!
