I give you an advice: Be aware of a stock with a very low (institutional ownership)... BENF is only 3% owned by institutionals ... In the other side a stock like CRNC is 90%owned by institutionals.

I saw this one. When I couldn’t find any news as a beginner I was just too fearful of what it was going to do.

Smart move as a beginner. You can get crushed in these halting small caps. I used to lose on these until I got it. Now I do much better after years of experience. see comment below by @tunestar

Thanks for the 2nd recap :) That one was C.R.A.Z.Y. There was no placing sensible stop loss. I tried it and got violently stopped out, but I'm glad I had the discipline to learn the lesson for a relatively small loss and walk away. Far, far, away!

I got in at about the same time, then sold just above $9. What a ride! All those halts had me anxious! Unfortunately, I'm still using the simulator! 😥

It was a wild ride. I got in $3.27 sold at $4.04 too early and got back in at $6.45 sold at $9.37 again too early and got back at $10.57 sold at $11.84 got 55% profit in small account, happy for the week. I am now watching ur other videos to get my confidence back and avoid early selling off. Thank you Ross!

Hi Ross. Any strategy on how to set a stop loss on a volatile stock like this one (or can you even do that)? I didn't trade it today but it feels like you'd get stopped out pretty fast with the volatility.

Would a trailing stop be the best route on extreme volatility

Hi Ross, I was thankful that I came across your videos when I needed the most. I tried subscribing the 14day trial with the simulator and what Ive got for 2 weeks 11 trading days is 8 green days with a profit of around $3k with a 3 red days already deducted from the whole profit Ive calculated. My size was maintained in a $500-$1k account size with 6x leverage. Your platform and community is really impressive! I wanted subscribe the one time lifetime membership but still cant afford it now, but planning tosave up to afford it. This coming week I am thinking of trying to make it real money, will subscribe with the day trade dash scanner because it really helps as a beginner. I am eeling nervous but everytime I watch your videos, my spirit lift up. Do you think I can do it wiyh a small account with real money? I'm a real fan here!😂

Im with you. Had too much to do today and my emotions were fragile. Not good for day trading. Try again on Monday.

I love the way you explain why the prices change the way they do because of something not accidentally by some buyers and sellers imbalance. It makes so much more sense. Maybe knowing why things happen the way they do could help predict what stock would go higher. I usually sell when the stocks go down significantly, and as a beginner, it happens very often when I buy close to the top and then sell at the bottom to watch it go up again and having no money left in my cash accnt to buy again. That is why when some people say pdt rule helps I disagree.

Depends on the market momentum, if the markets hot, Ross would be more inclined to play continuation right away.

You finally get to buy some shares to cover at 11 bucks and it immediately flushes!!!!!!!!!!!!! Feck, feck, feck, !!!!!! haha. They'll be gun shy this coming Monday. @@charliemcgrain I never said it was staying at 2$ did I?😂 I’m just stating if you look at the chart its move was already made going down…trying to hold anything after 2$ short never ends well unless your 1000% positive it’s going under a dollar…You are not wrong tho when saying they will try to short anything but to be quite frank…If you woke up Friday morning thinking you were about to short something at 2$ With absolutely no volume at all you DESERVED to lose that😂

@@Crashoutlil Like I said, to a penny stock scalper 2 dollars already looks overextended. They will short low vol with no news and god bless whoever was holding that all the way to 11 bucks.

I traded it on the simulator after the 2 or 3 big gap halts but when I entered I lost 33% in a second. Lesson learned. EDIT: I entered at 11.25$, was way too late!

You made the right choice based on what we been seeing lately

News is what brought me to this stock today. I saw news in my main news feed on Schwab…. I got in at about 4 ish and I got out at every 70 cent ish rise, I had stops but it was moving so fat.. as it halted 3 times at a buck rise… I didn’t get caught holding in the stops… even though it kept rising, the third halt it dropped a lot… so I stopped trading.. it went to 12… NEWS was “The company announced that it regained compliance regarding exchange bid price rules.”

Does your system work on MAC?

I didn’t trade it because the volume wasn’t high in the beginning. Then I went to my work and forgot about it until later when I saw what it did. I usually check at the end of the day or during my lunch time what is happening with the market and what I missed out.

Was not able to sim trade today, next week I’m in it on vacation

There is no finding these No news volume was barely ok. It was a gamble. Can try and get in for the second rise after the dip. But no way to predict the rise and the rise again

I've noticed since I started trading, there is a whole lot of "man, i should have" or "I could have.." ... So like a nerd, I made myself a little printout to tape to the wall above my monitor that says "We can't live in shoulda-coulda-woulda-ville" to remind me that getting out was still the right move 🤣😂

This was awesome made 1100$ in 7.01 out at 9.50 tight before the halt at 9.56. Solid week

I got extremely lucky with 2 halt trades, got me almost out of my new trading bad habits holding on to stocks versus cutting them loose so had lost 1ks on them. Even with the two I got off the list, I was still up over 200 dollars. I decided to call it a day there, walked away with a profit and 2 off the list. Only 2 left, had 6 at one time /cry but I learned! Thanks Ross! Crazy day out there.

since I'm a beginner I took 2 trades at $3 and $4 and made 10c and 13c a share on this stock! I use upper and lower brackets to stay "safe" that's why the profit is low XD but after those trades I kept on watching this stock with my mouth open :o

This showed up on my screener as negative before 7AM, and I didnt know why it was even showing up on my screener when it only screens for above 10%. It probably means the volume had been so high that it called it in before premarket. Ive never seen that before and ignored it completely. Missed out on 5k. Oh well.

SGBX was a winner for me. I was done trading by 10:30

Nice to see you walking away ross, with a cozy five thousand dollar profit, I mean who would complain. As for that very volatile stock, B E N E, quite a move and not what you want to miss out on, but as you said if you did, there is always another great stock round the corner and as long as we are always here, prepared to trade them, then there always be arriving on our doorstep, hopefully it won’t be to long now, when I start to benefit, from moments like this.
