Would hpal/destro lock be a viable 2s comp? Been watching your vids for a while now and I kind of wanna try hpal with my destro mate as practise for 3s. Probably hpal/destro/frost mage. But I guess ele or boomkin would work too. Big fear I have is that getting drinks off with a destro partner is going to be super hard.

Yeah with the changes they made today it’s definitely viable. Just make sure the destro can cc with Havoc/mortal coil into fear when you go for drinks. The comp would be solid

​​@@Shukumei_WOW Great to hear! Do you think affli or destro would be a better partner? What's the strategy if you're the KT? Can't really drink than. But maybe you don't have to with 2x horse and 2x BoF?

@j000pe destro and demo are the best lock specs for 2’s. Affliction can work but it requires a lot more skill to pull off. If you’re the kill target just make sure that you’re standing in line of your partner so they can peel for you. Warlock has mortal coil, spammable fear, stun etc. Basically the warlock should be able to punish the enemy team if they only focus you.

Here for the Algorithm. Also was interested in how some Holy Pallys make it work and what their thought process is during a match. From a Retribution Paladin perspective, I dont see H pally fair too well normally in reg BGs/Blitz/and Solo shuffle. I'm low rated so may just be seeing low rated H pally gameplay. There are several factors that I believe can make H pally struggle in the BG game modes. Getting dogpiled by several enemies will rarely enable casting or drinking. Actually expected more H pally buffs in healing throughput and defensives, but instead they got a little bit of added damage. Always rooting for the underdogs which I see as Frost DK, Feral, and Hpall right now because they all seem the easiest to kill for me. Even though I dont play them I'd be pleased if they were buffed. I like to see a variety of enemies in matches so I want all specs to feel viable. Best of luck!

I appreciate that! Yeah the plate nerf in pvp actually stung a little more than I thought it would for some classes. Hopefully paladins get an HPS buff at some point, it doesn’t have to be major, but it does seem that my Paladin lags behind all my other healers in HPS.

@@Shukumei_WOW I felt the added Warrior, Hunter, Pet, and especially WW increased damage from the plate armor nerf. My takeaway from DF thus far for H pally is, if I see an H Paladin succeeding, thats a particularly good player. For me MW Monk and Disc appear to have more tools at their disposal to prevent me from killing them or their teammates.

Why do you play blind instead of rep?

Mainly just a preference thing. Rep in theory is a lot better but I usually jot down stuff in a spreadsheet when we win or lose so I have random anecdotal data. For some reason we have a much higher win rate when I take blind.

@padshardbank yeah I think that’s the much better combo because blind doesn’t DR with the DKs blind.

Why dont you play "blessed focus'?

For 2v2 I had a lower win rate with it. There’s a couple videos on the channel where I take that talent. I thought it would be really good because of having less targets in 2v2 but against almost every comp my damage/healing and win rate dropped. Now keep in mind that’s just anecdotal because it’s a really small sample size.

Every match you say you should have used LOH early.
