I agree totally Paige, the chemistry and talent on this team not just starters but all of them, when they are called to the floor, they step up and are amazing! GO HAWKS! I can't wait for next year!

Warnock had a tough, tough assignment to just keep digging in, banging with their bigs. She never let down.

“I haven’t eaten, there’s some spaghetti 🍝 and steak” and the media proceeds to ask her twenty more questions. 🤣. Congratulations Hawkeyes! Phenomenal game!

Kate and Gabbie on defense are so tough. Love watching them play!

Katie Martin, you are simply amazing, the best, all departments, rebounds, defense, 3 points, and fast breaks. She was everywhere on the floor going loose balls and offensive rebounds despite their being undersized by SC, amazing win. Congratulations!

It was so good to see Iowa beat South Carolina. SC had that perfect winning streak going, so it was extra sweet to witness.

As alum, ticket holder and IC resident, I am proud of these ladies skill, intellect and the way they rep Iowa! Not "cocky", respectful of other teams and coaches, and well spoken in press situations! VERY CLASSY, Iowa ladies! Best luck Sunday, but know you are the "class" of the tourney and Iowa and most of the US are proud of ya!

Obviously, Caitlin got them there, but Kate and others REALLY filled their roles. Kate's 7 rebounds against those S.C. giants was crucial to the win.

Martin and Marshall were lights out great on D in this game.

SC lack of outside shooting finally came to bite them. Finally. I always wondered why teams played them the same way.

The thing that almost no one is talking about is that its a team game. I don’t care if the stat line read 0,0,0 the girls hustled their tails off. Gabby and Kate and Monica and McKenna all balled out and had to play players that were averaging probably close to 5 inches taller then them and outhustled them to win this game. Everything in the pre game facts and the actual game facts say that they should have lost. 25 rebounds less, only a handful of 3’s versus their normal output, Caitlin 5-17 from 3 point range, etc. That’s why you play the game though.

Kate is the X factor. Whatever it takes to win, 100% effort.❤

It’s a thug program. Look at how they refused to play BYU this year over a fabricated racism label against BYU.
