Iowa PLEASE find a way to hire Kate after she graduates as a junior assistant coach. Someday she should be the head coach of this team. She would continue the culture of the program well into the future.

i love kate martin more than anything else in the world, and i got the chance to tell her. when she talks about how people will remember how she treats them, she’s right. i got to go to a game this year and at the end i was behind the bench yelling at her that i loved her, and she looks me in the eye and goes “i love you too” and i could tell she meant it. i try to be more and more like her everyday ❤️

Kate Martin is a stud! Looking back on these five or six years i’ve enjoyed watching her along with the rest of her teammates, and I’m gonna miss her when she’s gone next year. Can’t forget Gabbie Marshall either

The Aces front office should be commended. They did their due diligence and got two steals in this draft with Kate and Elizabeth Witley. I love Kate's game... Especially because she's multi-faceted and a "banger". She will body "a woman" to get to the basket. I'd dare say that she's like another version of Alysha Clark, who is now her teammate. Jeez Louise! As the saying goes, "Everything is coming up #Aces.

Kate is Caitlins Scottie Pippen. Underrated for now. Does whatever it takes when anyone else falters.

Excellence and selflessness. Two qualities not always found together these days. And this basketball team has it by the bucketloads (yes...pun intended). A winning combination, on the court, and off as well.

I am so proud of what these young ladies have accomplished, they've let the nation know that we know basketball in Iowa. I'm anticipating a season full of victories. They have a 6th sense, knowing where each teammate is, and where the opponents are at all times. Precision passes, very long 3 pointers, and there is no quit in this team. I am so proud to call Iowa my home. Go get 'em Hawkeyes!!

LUV this year maybe more than last, which is difficult to say - miss Czinano and Warnock, but LUV Molly and they all may be better this year. IA outskills all by far . More college women's bball should be at that level. NO excuse, since the talent IS out there.

Redshirt year one (don't play in games but participate in practices), Covid's shortened season was given a freebie for player development. (1)+4+1=6. Fyi, CC did 4 years.

She's crucial to this years team, the confidence she has on the floor makes the team multi player challenge for opponents, there's five out there for Iowa who all can score.

Actually doctors go to medical school after college for four years. Other doctoral programs are graduate school programs, technically not college.

@mcaste Many students have had an extra year because of COVID. Kate is working on her Masters. She got her Bachelors degree in 2022, so you have a problem with getting a higher degree AND playing basketball?? Her 5th year was for her COVID year, so do some research. It takes 10-14 years to become a doctor depending on what kind of specialty you want to go into.
