Thunderbolt 1003 ASA2 1:07 it went dual. So it was manually Single Tone or was wired that way

I used to live about 2 miles from the Holtsville Fire Department and this was always awesome to hear at noon. I was just thinking about why only some fire stations do it and others don't. I'm down here in Florida and live in a neighborhood where there's fire department again about 2 miles from the house....at noon....you can hear crickets chirp.

It's actually a single toned Thunderbolt 1003 it's basically a Thunderbolt 1000 with solenoids

@@sherylmcneice79 well what the point in a single toned 1003? The whole point of the solenoids is to creat the hi lo or pulse signal. If it had a single tone 5 port chopper, when the solenoids alternate, it really just makes it quieter. So 1003s with 5 port choppers are not a thing. They are always 5/6 or 4/5.

Sirens & Thunderbolts 1003 Definitely has a stuck Cell annoyed and the horn looks like it’s rotting out too! Need some TLC, I have a horn sitting in my garage in great shape if they need it
