Hey Music & film fans, I know it’s been a while, I’m back with a brand new reaction from the golden age of Hollywood and this is my first time watching this musical comedy “Hollywood party” release in 1934 sorry Jimmy Durante with an All-Star cast.

    Thanks for reviewing these obscure vintage films! "Hollywood Party" does not ever really jell, but it's an interesting showcase of that time's talent. Plus, I love the tile song. I'd LOVE it if you reacted to the pre-Hays Code film "Rain". It was Joan Crawford's breakout role. She considered it her favorite part as well. It was written by one of the most popular authors of the time, Somerset Maugham. "Rain" also stars Walter Huston, who is the father of John Huston and grandfather of Angelica Houston, both great actors and directors in their own right. For a film similar to "Hollywood Party", you may want to check out "Big Broadcast of 1938". It has W.C. Fields, a wacky star-filled cast, and a goofy plot involving, believe it or not, a big technology conference in China.
