Can't find correct pictures or you just don't know who the Hell these famous people are.

That's the wrong Desi Arnaz, put the photo of his father, not the son's. Frank Sinatra, Moe Howard & Jackie Gleason look strange. Raúl Juliá was not known as a cigarette smoker. I suppose Charles Lane would have lived beyond 102 (not 10), maybe to 150 without the smoking.

Where's John Candy? He was an actor who smoked and died young. I'd say those over 80 didn't smoke themselves to death. Even if they smoked, they got away with it.

There is a box that the doctor must check on the death certificate when anyone dies. It asks “Did tobacco contribute to this persons death?” The government keeps track of these statics. Smoking is lethal, period, end of story. It was a factor in their death.

In the early twentieth century, cigarette companies only charged $.20 a pack, keeping the price low to encourage new customers! Many of these actors & actresses became 'hooked' on cigarettes, during that time, plus little detrimental evidence was published before the 1960's, about smoking! So, many of them succumbed to cancer before that time, having died 30 to 60 years ago! Those that still smoke should be warned!

My uncle is 76 and has been smoking since he was 9 years old. How is he still alive!?

That is not possible. Say he was up 16 hours. 16 x 60 = 960. There are 20 cigarettes to a pack. That equals 160. 960 ÷ 160 = 6. Which means a cigarette every six minutes from the time he got up, till the time he went to bed. No time for eating, no time for movie-making. No time for anything.

That is Desi Arnes Jr in that pic, also Jerry Lewis gave up smoking in the late seventies or very early eightys, also heart disease can be caused by many things not just smoking ,Lucille ball died from from a ruptured Aortic artery, which can happen to anybody, and I would argue anybody over eighty could be said to have died of natural causes lung cancer or no, Dean Martin was in his eightys Generally cancer is the cause of most people's deaths at that age anyway, if you are saying anybody that doesn't smoke will live to a hundred then perhaps you have a valid point but we simply know that isn't the case, I hate smoking and everything about it, but I do think if somebody makes it to ninety-one they've done very well smoker or non-smoker eg Jerry Lewis, it is estimated that smoking has taken well over hundreds of millions of lives, The tobacco epidemic is one of the biggest public health threats the world has ever faced, killing over 8 million people a year around the world.
