Have you seperated the audio and video in an editing platform to edit the sound from the Lark M-1 ? I believe the "stereo setting" is especially for editing software (unless it's for keeping sound in both playback speakers...). Keep trying new things with the new gear_😉and make some follow-up content 👍

I truly appreciate you taking it a step further and using both mics at the same time, that's what I've been looking for. Thanks much man!

this is what quality content looks like. hit on all the points we wanted to know and also guilt tripped me for the cat i found so now i will go see if it has a microchip lol had no idea that existed

Do these create a back up recording of all audio directly to the transmitter like a DJI? This would be extremely handy for shooting over 30 minutes. I’m hoping it does.

Can the receiver operate while charging via USB-C? I can alternate microphones for effectively unlimited battery life on that end, but I'd like to leave the receiver permanently connected to my PC. The lavalier mic I currently have won't work while charging, which is a real pain.

I think he uses Hollyland 3.5mm TRS Male to USB Type C/Lightning

I just got mine. I'm having a hard time just turning it on. How do I know when the battery has been recharged enough? Or how do I know if the re-charger is working at all (when the batteries are inside)?

Can you use the mic while the transmitter is charging via usb-c?

Thanks for using the mic right from the beginning. Far too many audio reviewers leave it right to the end or don't even have any demo audio at all!

Can a lav mic be attached to the mic units?

With the DJI lapel the sound is recording onto the transmitter itself... with the Hollyland Is the sound recorded onto the device I'm using? So for example if I want to pair it with a Insta360 will it record onto the insta360 memory card?

I bought this microphone because, as a journalism student, I am TIRED of fooling with the super-long corded omnidirectional Lavalier microphone during interviews. The interviewees never know how to wear it; it's nearly impossible to hide under clothes and plain cumbersome to work with. The Hollyland microphone was a suggestion from a former professor I had during my undergrad who regularly uses this microphone. I'm glad that I have taken his advice.

Hello Raymond, I purchased the Lark C1 to easily record podcasts on the go and have a question. Although both microphones are recognized separately by the receiver, they are combined into one signal. Is there a way to get a separate signal from each of the two microphones? I haven't found such an option. I would be very grateful for a quick answer. Best regards from Berlin Rayco

​@@literallyjeff In the meantime I received an email from Hollyland and they confirmed that Lark C1 only works in mono mode. Lark M1 works in mono and stereo, but has no smartphone connection. I have now decided on the brand new “Lark Max”. It costs twice as much, but it is also the premium class.👍

Mine gets super hot when connected to my iPhone. I am scared to record more than 1 minute. Any suggestions

Great video. For colors, I love it. Since it has many colors to be choosen. However, after studying on KZread, I think it does not perform well when it's on camera. As my plan, I think I will choose SYNCO G2A2.

There's no 3.5mm mic input for a lavalier microphone, so using for weddings probably won't work, but they look like great vlog/travel mics!

Agreed. These are definitely more for vlogs & travel. I would go with the Lark Max if you plan to do more pro stuff like weddings

I got one have NOT been able to get it to work with my iPhone 14 Pro Max. I have no idea what to do now. So far it has been a complete waste of money.

Biggest weakness of this one is no option for a lapel with the transmitter, no option for real time monitoring with the receiver and very little gain adjustments. Most of the time it's too loud. Upgraded to this from my boya bym1v. Sound quality is better and the noise reduction feature is way better on the lark. But the lark is too loud.

Ima still use my AirPods

You don't even need an expensive lavalier mic if you have an Asus laptop I was testing my $20 Sony lavalier mic using the noise cancelling technology in my Asus F-17 laptop and the sound is just perfect I had LAV taped with mole skin under my shirt and was recording dialogue for a sitcom IM creating and the sound was perfect enough for TV
