I think it's a nod to how he died in the Colosseum of Fools, in the Trial of the Fool you fight a Brooding Mawlek after it tries to crush you, Tiso had been crushed by that Mawlek and died

say what you want about the flower quest or the white palace, they both have ways to make it easier, like a ton of shortcuts in the white palace and charms to give you infinite healing, like grubsong+grubberflies elegy, or killing every enemy and then not resting at a bench for the flower quest. the pantheon of hallownest has some lifeblood at every bench if you complete every other pantheon with bindings, and if you die, you have to start over

Sisters of Battle, Winged Nosk, and the Pseudo-Asceneded difficulty bosses like Dream Warriors, Vengefly King and Gruz mother are fine. In the Hall of the Gods they deal 2 dmg in those difficulties. There is plenty of time to heal in between and during fights. There are very few bosses that don't allow for it, and the 2hit bosses have break rooms immediately. If you also go one binding at a time, you can get increasing Lifeblood cocoons in the break rooms.

i mean, i can do the whole thing just fine its just i can't get past NKG and it took me 4 hours to be PUre vessel on the 4th trial. the radiance isnt that hard in comparison , my problem is NKGs and pure vessels absolute speed, where you need to use every fiber in your being to keep up.

i see a ton of people complain about the collector on here and i honestly don't get it. it's extremely easy to dash to the bottles and kill whatever spawns in one hit before they can even do anything and then start hitting the collector until he goes back up to the ceiling. i won't lie i've died to some bosses i'm ashamed of while trying to conquer this pantheon but i've never lost to the collector. edit: never mind i just watched that part of the video i guess team cherry nerfed the collector so that you can kill the enemies with one hit before i got to it. i could see why it would be a LOT harder if they all required two hits each.

As somebody who never beat hollow Knight and just watched lore videos instead I love the sisters of battle boss fight so much. Their patterns make it look like they're almost dancing with each other, and they create this really smooth rhythm you can follow

I regret trying to clear this for hours before watching this and realizing it's basically impossible. Amazing video and what impressive skills. Edit: after 6 months I saw my little brother trying to beat the pantheons after he cleared the game, he surprisingly got throught the first 4 quit easily and when he tried the pantheon of hallownest he killed a lot of the bosses and tried really hard to finish it but ultimately gave up, but he sparked my interest and gave me hope, I trained for 3 weeks, and I finally beated The Absolute Radiance, guess I gave up early, but sometimes I just draw my limits early, goodluck to anyone who tries to beat this game, I love hollow knight.

I'm still working on the 4th Pantheon.. and I just got my third binding finished on the first one. Haven't completed the no Charm binding on it yet. I've beaten the regular Radiance at least!

Amazing job. I don't think I'll ever be able to do this... This takes nearly an hour and the hardest parts are definitely in the last half. If I lost to NKG, Pure Vessel, or Absolute Radiance after grinding through the rest I would want to delete the game lol

This comment of mine is pretty funny in retrospect. I've since spent many hours on Godmaster and actually beat the last pantheon a couple days ago. Neither Nightmare Grimm nor Pure Vessel stood in my way since I had thoroughly practiced them :P I even just beat Absolute Radiance today on Radiant difficulty. An immensely grueling, but satisfying task. I'm happy I wasn't deterred by how intimidating Godmaster seemed since it has been extremely rewarding to rise to the challenge. I've since also learned a lot about the game's many bosses... replays through the base game are going to be particularly interesting. lol

This is brutal. It’s every boss, in the arenas they have in ascended difficulty (but not with the double damage thank god no pun intended) and while there are rest stops, there are no check points. No. Check. Points. And it’s all an hour long. Yeah, no thank you.

That gateway animation when you approach the Pantheon of Hallownest, with the void current and the light and sound that blast out at you when you begin the pantheon, is absolutely spectacular. Whenever I watch that it leaves me feeling awe-struck; it really gets you to say to yourself, “This is *it.* This is the _peak.”_ That’s one of the things that I love about games like Hollow Knight: the sheer intensity and scale of where the main character ends up at the end of their journey. When you start out in this game, at the King’s Pass, you’re walking around in a dead environment and killing completely non-threatening bugs - bugs in the most figurative meaning of the word, as in like an insult to their existence - and then over time as you explore the kingdom, you slowly progress on to fight great and greater foes, until eventually you are just straight up fighting _gods,_ both the hypothetical ones and also the actual, *real* ones that should just be able to wipe your entire being from history. It starts at the very bottom, with you being a weak, worthless nobody, and climbs all the way up to the point where you can’t possibly go any higher. It makes it feel as if the endpoint of the adventure is the Pantheon of Hallownest itself. Like it isn’t just the act of _beating it_ that matters, but the privilege to stand before it and _attempt_ it. Even if you win, there’s nowhere else for you to go after that; the reward _is_ the challenge in and of itself. That’s the sensation that I get from watching the gateway open.

Okay now this is pure insanity. Well done & thanks for the video.

I just beat this today... I think my heart was pounding faster than the heart beat in the NKG fight... I also got down to one health a few time during The Pure Vessel fight but after practicing against Absolute Radiance a bunch in the hall of gods I was able to beat them with a pretty good amount of health left. It feels good to become a master of the gods

Wow, this is so impressive. And here I just beat the normal Radiance, and thought _that_ was an ordeal. I don't know if I'll ever get to doing the Pantheon myself, but it sure is fun just to watch you go through it. Your moves are so well executed it is like a dance. Great job, and thanks for sharing.

I like this presentation of the rush. Not an 'All bindings on, Hitless, with Old Nail, One-hand-tied-behind-my-back' kind of presentation. One where you get hit, make mistakes, but you still do it. Makes me think the victory is not as hard to get to as I previously thought.

I've been practicing Absolute Radiance for about 2 hours now, got about 8 wins, not sure if I can do it in the pantheon 5 yet. It hasn't come close to destroying my soul.

I wish I hadn't discovered this game. I hate having to wait months upon months for a game to release, it's torture :3 It looks sooo good, and I haven't been so eager to play a video game in a *long* time.

honestly the new ending makes me so excited for the hornet dlc, didn't even consider the possibility of it taking place in present day but it seems almost guranteed now, with the hollow knight facing her in the last scene of the ending.

Well now I know what I'll spend my summer on...

...poor tiso. really wanted to see how that kind of fight would've gone.

My favorite is the Pure Vessel. Because of how many times I've seen the Hollow Knight stabbing himself, now finally be able to show its true power without the infection of Radiance. He looks and fight with purity.

I remember fighting the hollow knight for the first time and being slightly disappointed with his moveset. I felt he was just too easy to beat. Now I get why it was made this way, and honestly fighting the pure vessel feels so good. True power indeed

I just wanted to say that this video has helped me a lot, I haven't beaten it yet (My furthest attempt I died to this boss: 29:30) but I think i'll be able to beat it soon. First off with uummuu I didn't realize you could just hit the squids toward the boss (I thought you had to lead the explosive to the boss while it followed you) so that made that a lot easier. Also with the giant bush monster I had know idea that you could just push them back like that and now I know you can easily just pogo the guy at 29:30 so I'm confident I can at least get to the Pure Vessel in my next run. Also I dont know why, and im not trying to brag, but I dont find Nightmare King Grimm to be that difficult. I mean I dont think hes easy but It only took me about 10 tries to beat him. I never got to fight him until this dlc because I did the banishment ending without knowing about the fight but I think why people have had so much trouble with him is because they dont realize you can actually heal during the attack where the spikes come up, the attack where he jumps up and splits into fire, and the attack where he call fire from the ground while he floats (If you have quick focus equipped) Its actually funny because most of the people in this community seem to have trouble with a boss only to find that everyone else found it easy. I died a lot to the dream version of the broken vessel and so did videogamedunkey but when he posted a video about it I saw a lot of people found it easy. I just thought that was kind of funny

Welp... I was right on the money... I made it to the pure vessel and they killed me... I feel emotionally dead inside and its getting late so I think i'm going to beat it tomorrow. If I can find good recording software maybe i'll record it like you did. y'know I find it really funny now that I thought the pantheon of the knight was so hard before but know I feel like I could do it easily whenever I feel like it. Also when I first heard of this pantheon it sounded rediculous to me but honestly its not as bad as it seems, I mean it sucks to have to start all the way over when you die but most of the bosses arent that difficult after beating the first 4 pantheons. Guess thats another thing I find kind of funny...

Wow I’m impressed you were able to get this far. To even beat it! Well done. It was really sloppy in some parts, didn’t use your dream nail either to fill the gauge. But a win is a win!

Estos son juegos...donde para avanzar tienes que mejorar tu habilidad y conocimientos (plantear una estrategia que se ajuste a ti). Una joya que deben adquirirlo cuanto antes, porque ya se acerca Silk Song 2 (continuación directa de Hollow Knight). Y ojalá completen todos los DLC...gratuitos a la fecha.

It's so satisfying to see those black tendrils embrace that (expletive) gold worm/pupae/godseeker thing.

After 3 and a half years on trying I’m finally looking up what happens when you finish it

You know, I tried. I put my mind into it and grinded until I came to Absolute Radiance. And then... I gave up. I don't know why or what happened, but I just couldn't defeat her. I grinded for longer than with Pure Vessel and Nightmare King Grimm without making any progress at all, and never even making it further than her second phase. Even looking up guides and changing my charm set didn't help. So I wasn't able to complete Pantheon of Hallownest, which sucks because Hollow Knight is probably my all time favorite game and I would have just loved to 100% complete everything, not just counting the requirements for 112%, but all the achivements as well. Which is why you should get mad credit for actually pushing through with it and beating Absolute Radiance and the Pantheon of Hallownest, good job!

At least they give you a bench before pure vessel

Fabulous. Seriously. Just the last bosses left in the game and after watching this I think I should step back. I want to beat them so bad but I do not have that skill or time to gain that skillset.

Even though there are harder bosses afterwards, I still enjoy watching the 3 vs. 1 Mantis Lords fight the most. 10:07 (well, 10:35 for the actual 3 vs. 1 part)

I personally used *quick focus + shape of unn* (together, while you focus, you move 200% of normal walk speed!) to get heals that I really shouldnt be able to get, *grubberfly's elegy* (does a zelda blade beam at full health for 75% of nail damage) for bosses that fly around, -like half the bosses-, *sprintmaster* (50-75% increased walk speed) for attacks where dash end-lag would kill, and so I dont aster the i-frames off of shadow dash, and *grimmchild* -because it's the most adorable thing ever- for bosses that are too overwhelming do dodge AND attack constantly _or I swap sprintmaster and grimmchild for unbreakable strength_ *requires 11 charm notches*

go home Team Cherry, you've played enough Dragon's Lair ! ( and sc*w you too T_T )

popping the radiance open like a soda can will never NOT be satasfiying
