I played this for the first time on first part this year for Pep Band and it’s so fun! So glad I got to play first part for this song my Senior year. Definitely one of my all time favorite Pep Band songs we do!

I learned frist trumpet in my freshman year it's by far the best

At practice today, half the band gathered around in a big huddled mass and began playing this out of nowhere. When someone begins playing and multiple people join them, it is an amazing thing. (Especially when the BD is nowhere to be found!)

I have TPT 1 on this; it's actually quite simplistic. The E is simple. I'm only a freshman but I can nail that glissando.

As a trombone yhe first couple times we played this I would always see high nits and get terrified and overshoot, so instead of " D D Bb Bb F F C C" it sounded like "F F D D G G E E"

Can confirm. When you hit it on lead trumpet, its a huge adrenaline pump! And when its in tune its like god cried and it was the trumpets job to help him get better

The alto saxaphone part is good. My band went thro once and we had a blast.

my old school band did this (i've changed schools) and we only played it in our literal one marching song. (we only marched once). it was so awesome, except my band wasn't very enthusiastic and fun so it was boring on that behalf, but otherwise it was such an amazing song to play. we didn't play it anymore after that marching thing even though literally the entire band was suggesting we play it. my band director kept on screaming "NO MORE HOLIDAY" in our faces lol

Man listening to stuff like this makes me miss college marching band. We did a lot of more simple/fun shows like movie themes, funk, cartoon themes etc

This is so much fun as a trumpet 1, but it wrecks my lips

Even being a clarinet player this is one of my absolute favorite songs to play it’s sooooo fun

I just got this for my show tune in marching band this year and I love it so much

Really hope my band does this!

It's adorable how quiet they expect saxes to be, honestly, us alto's are up there with the trumpets for being the loudest.

I'm the sole baritone player for the University of Idaho basketball band, this is so much fun to play, you just get caught up in the passion of the song. Also glissando on Baritone sounds really cool but is a good kind of hellish to play. I've played this with nearly a thousand college and high schoolers on the field during football season, and it is truly epic. So many pep songs have so much more heart in them than the song they're based off of.
