We already did, but we cheated a little bit, and bought a kit at Publix. I think the adults had more fun decorating than the kiddos! 🤶

What a really neat idea. Thank you Ginger Betty and happy holidays! Everyone seemed really happy...so although this is to keeps kids happy...there was a roomful of kids at heart! Love all of you!

My children loved making ginger bread houses, but I loved watching them. What beautiful memories with any family. Ginger Betty and guests were truly a blessing at these holidays. Laughing with you all has been good for my soul. Thank you Miss Paula

Never made one. I've always said I was going to try a small one. I think I could decorate cookies with kids. They r si talented. Fantastic job.

My mother passed a few years ago to Alzheimer’s/Dementia. There were signs early on just a few years shy of her retirement and I am seeing the same signs here with our dear Paula. 😔

What a wonderful time. I hope all families can have as much fun at Christmas as you have, and make wonderful and joyous memories.

My son Shane was named after the Alan Ladd movie... besides the laughter another reason to love this Gingerbread House. :)

Looks so much fun…. I’m hopeless with decorating. My parents were part time cake decorators growing up but didn’t take time to teach me and my 3 sisters.. life was very busy for them… but we loved their cakes. My Daddy was amazing with his fun clown cakes…😄😄😄❤️❤️❤️

We do these every year. And I'm like you Paula. I cant draw and decorate well with icing. My kids do well though. But it's still fun anyway. Yall gave me lots of new ideas to decorate with. So creative.

It’s a little too late for me to do this now, but wow, I would love to plan to decorate houses next year with my family! What fun it would be! Thank you for doing this video.

The 12 days of Christmas start on Christmas Day, you have time, buy the gingerbread house at the grocery store and decorate it with candy and canned icing.Betty crocker.

I loved watching this video so much❤ I also enjoyed watching them construct the Gingerbread house in the lobby at The Grand Floridian Hotel Disney World!

A fun video but not really impressed with the house by Ginger Betty, looks a mess to me even though there are some cute additions on it. I've made gingerbread houses with clear candied glass in the windows, doors that look open, have added front, back or side porches with columns decorated in garland, used tiny candies to look like Christmas lights, surrounded by a yard with trees, snowmen, etc.. all to scale with the house, much more detailed than these houses. I had hoped the video would have shown some of the more advanced techniques. All in all a fun video. My post may seem negative, but not meant to be, doesn't matter what anyone thinks of how something looks. It's about the journey and the fun putting it together and spending time with family and friends gathered in the best place in the house.....the kitchen. Thank you Paula, watching and listening to you always makes me smile and puts me in a happy mood.

Yes, Cheryl, I kind of wished she actually demonstrated specific accent pieces of the house, and technique, and more ideas. I've done the stained glass as well. It would have been great if she demonstrated more landscaping, maybe a chimney going up the side of the house. I even did a church, schoolhouse and dog house in the village I created. Shane's house was beautiful!

Where's Bible Betty and her delusions about gang signs and the ditch? She posted those remarks yesterday. On a more rational note, welcome Ginger Betty, and I don't hear any MA accent, but then I'm from Maine. Been to Savannah, and I loved it!
