They should just make a hidden modifier that bullet will have 10% of damage if they are not fired at the same time (example 500ms buffer) with at least X number player. This means in order to win you need to fire as a team. A simple mechanic yet overlooked by def

@@brukujinbrokujin7802 war of rights does it best it has mechaic where your easily scared when alone so bullets or charing enemy will make you shaky and poorer sight while in line you need to be basically shot by arty volly and everything ells for the mechanic to even start happening

Medic in a Napoleonic era setting? The only Medic should be some Butcher Surgeon who basically decided which limb should he cut off. There were no Medics on the Battlefield back then.

Seeing people organize and follow orders in these games is something we all want to see.

Games like these are hard to work, not because of the devs, but the playerbase that doesn't care to play as a team. They're used to CoD, BF, Halo, and most other generic shooters that don't care about teamwork. It's ashame too since it would be alot more fun. I can appreciate when mods create events that only allow people to play if they play like this. 👍

In real life, many would be court martial for defying orders.

The most historically accurate British game I've seen!

I remember once, me and other riflemen lads grouped up on the left flank of the british line infantry going slightly down a hill and then up a hill again, up against french line infantry... it was beautiful. open field, us picking off french riflemen, officers, drummers or colour carriers, with the british line slowly advancing, finally breaking the enemy line. only experienced it once, and it was magnificent. Honestly, felt like I was playing an episode of 'Sharpe's' lol.

how I *wish* people would play this game: it's understandable but also very annoying when everyone chooses to play like a skirmisher (in that they run and gun by themselves and fire at will) but virtually never choose the skirmisher class

Though fun to fire off volleys, I didn't see any of the buffs that give you benefits in battle provided by the officer. FIring when he tells you (and he hits the correct keyboard commands) gives you a 10% increase in accuracy, the charge order lets you take an extra bullet from enemies, keeping you alive for a while longer, and increased melee damage.

Team work is rare, but you'd think people playing a multiplayer game, would want to play with other player, hence the multiplayer part, then they proceeding to play it like a FPS with human enemies instead of ai

Considering that throughout this game the enemy keeps consistently extending their lead, it doesn't look like the organisation actually worked.

its because not the whole team is cooperating with the commander. You have atleast 30% of players probably getting slaughtered and outnumbered, a meat grinder. While the effort made by the captain is actually effective, its overshadowed by the other players not listening and charging to their deaths. If you notice, only a few enemy players actually attack the line of riflemen. The enemy team is just farming the players who werent cooperating hence why theyre losing

I wish this game was always like this, this is exactly what I wanted when I got this game. If you want a game that looks like this regularly, war of rights is REALLY good, although you can only find a server with a reasonable amount of players between 4 and 7 o’clock pacific time.
