Holderness Coast - Atwick & Hornsea Beach Fishing 1st Vid

My first upload of my fishing trip on the Holderness Coast at Atwick near Hornsea.
Location Information:
Atwick is a tricky place to fish as the get-down can be treacherous and dangerous if its rained. The get-down involves climbing down a muddy clay cliff and this is fine if it is dry but if it going to rain or has rain best avoid this mark.
I've not been washed off this mark but its best to find a place where you can get up the cliff just in case of a freak wave as I've in the past been right up to the very edge of the cliff but still managed to successfully fish it on a large Spring Tide without being washed off.

Yes i do go there, this venue is actually in Atwick just near the Caravan park off cliff road (not far from Hornsea)

@@michaelholmes9564 thats good, not many people do sea fishing where we are, so thats good to hear that you do... Hopefully when things a bit better with Covid19 we can meetup and catch a few cod or smooth hounds :)

Yes on big spring tides. Try Skipsea, Fraisthorpe and Atwick. Bait pump is needed and fork won't work as water fills up too quick in the hole

@@CastAwayFishingUK Thanks for that, that is exactly what i was after, i'm going for long weekend with family and staying in skipsea, i shall bring my pump with me. i have never fished holderness coastlines before so looking forward to it, great video by the way really enjoyable watch. @@Masterfisherman the get down at Skipsea is south from the campsite. There is usually a rope that helps and its at the end of hornsea road. Location from what3 words is: ///pouch.streaks.decoding Let me know when your down might pop over or and make a bit more content for me channel. Really want to make a vid on shrimping with pushnet. Also Skipsea has lots of Flatties and Dabs in general for Smoothhouds, skate, bass or the lucky cod middle beaches and southern beaches do well
