Yea, I’m only messing! I’ve not even tried the Ultraflys and I’m sure they are great for some people. Although, white….i mean!!

@@FilmMyRun I would definitely say try them, I love mine they are so comfortable 👌🏻 As for the colourway yeah white is crazy, but I just tell myself the dirt just represents a story of running 🤣

Altra Mont Blanc Carbon. Much more flexible. Better traction, Better shape.

I wear these and they rock the house. Such a fast shoe

I found them very fast, but useless in mud. Also rolled my ankles twice in a month due to the solid plates over rocks. So perfect shoe as long as you are not running over rocks or mud... So basically rugged road shoes here in Yorkshire 😂

Yes after a good few months of using them now, I think I agree with you. Lugs just not deep enough for anything other than smooth easy trails. But yes, fast on those.

I just got On trail shoes and I love them 🙏🏻 it’s Nike & On - no Hoka 😅

You use what works best for you.

Very good shoe. But take a good 100 miles to wear them in. Ultrafly are pants. After using the hecton x2, ultrafly and fujispeed 2 id say the fujispeed are the best. But also carbon plates on the trails just dont work as well for me. Trabucco max 2 and speedgoat all day

You should compare these with the New Balance SC Trails!

Can’t beat the Speedgoat 5 in my opinion

4mm just isn’t enough the lugs wear down to quick then your left with a shoe that’s no good

It depends if you want spikes or not. The Nike ZoomX Dragonfly’s are the popular XC spikes. But if you’re not into spikes then the Inov8 Mudclaws are a good choice for rutted muddy terrain where you need a lot of grip. If it’s dry XC trails then your favourite trail shoe will be fine.

These look very sexy... Have you noticed many/any obvious benefits/drawbacks with a carbon plate on a trail shoe?

Hi Andy. Hope you're well. The obvious benefit is that they do feel a lot faster on flat ground. The drawback is that the plate makes the shoe feel a little stiffer than my Hoka Speedgoats.
