This is just as wild as seeing Random New World on EU4 with the empires in the New World being common. By the time Portugal or Castile get their colonial game going this High American empire just yoinks all their colonies. Truly scary sometimes.

Well, the high Americans have the best tech group in the game and it only gets better as the years go by.

If you see factionalism as the spirit of the nation of the USSR, then you now AI is going alternate comunist path

I've done it, but it took many resources and I had started building ships even before I activated the mission. I filled all my coastal provinces with dockyards and turned on the extra naval production focus. The result was a surface fleet that could raid convoys, but not much else, unless supported by massive amounts of naval bombers. Also, it used to be very easy to do with old exploit were you could stack the naval production focus to the point were you could build two carriers or super battleships in a day. This has been patched, sadly.

This is where the fun begins.

fun fact: the plc used to have a couple of colonies which were created by the duchy of courland. one was an island in the carribean and the other was a couple of settlements in the gambia

Nah, Finland is superior for one single reason: You get all of Finland as cores.

The comments to some of the weird things that happened during this playthrough made the video for me.

Just a normal guatemalan playthrough would be fun

At the end you should switch on faction view or a selection to see how big your empire is easily, and for us to tell easily
