Pretty sure you need La Resistance as well to get the spies on diplo pressure. Might be wrong about that though.

Yeah, the only thing that you've got to worry about is quickly going to war with Shaanxi. They'll declare on them, even if Shaanxi is you're puppet and in your faction.

The only world conquest i ever completed in vanilla was as qing China. Turning the whole coast into dockyards makes China a naval superpower.

Don't worry Stak, unless I did something wrong, you are right about the united front thing, I rushed the united front focus a few times on the current patch and the warlords don't join up, but going back a few patches they do, so something seems to have broken.

Have you done a historical game as norway yet? It would be fun to see you survive against germany

The nationalists back then did some really shitty things like the 1938 Yellow River incident, doomed millions of people and then blamed it on the Japanese. The Japanese at that time, called Chiang Kai-Shek "The Worst Nemesis of Humanity"… The current US officials might be corrupted and inefficient, but still far better than those.

Easier way to deal with Japan is to let them take one port then encircle and destroy their units. But don't take the port itself. That way they will keep funneling troops into it with 0 org that you can wipe instantly. Works extremely well

If you take mengukuo’s divisions at the start of the game, by requesting forces because they are your puppet, you remove I think 8 cav divisions that would otherwise be attacking you and you take basically all of their guns.
