Great video, I like your Hoi4 content very much! The strategy shown did not work for me yesterday, because I faced two problems: 1)The USA joined the Allies on November 18th 1939, just two month after my war declaration. 2)The 1 cavalry templates I recruited like you did just died during combat, I guess their power was two weak. I think I still just suck at HOI4, especially warfare, but I will try it again soon, since it looks so much fun what you are doing in this video. Greetings from Germany and have a nice time in Ireland.

Mexico is my favorite to play too :) pretty much for all the same reasons you've listed. The focus tree is so versatile and bad a lot of replayability.

On the topic of Mexico: Mexico had a string of great presidents from Adolfo de la Huerta to Adolfo Ruíz Cortínez and Adolfo López Mateos, from the 1920s to 1950s. Out of them all the outlier and undoubtedly the best of them was Lázaro Cárdenas, portrayed there in HOI4. Before you say it, yeah, there were suspiciously a lot of Adolfos in office in that time period.

What I love about Mexico is that every path is fun, even the ones with few focus on them, one thing I would add though is an actual Mexican Empire path, almost every country has a monarchic path and Mexico that monarchy played a big role in their history has none
