I want just one thing LONGER STORY, the story in the first game was hella short and sebestians side quests were sometimes more interesting than the main story.

Depends on the type of gamer you are, casual, hard-core etc. I managed to play it out for around a month before completing the end boss. Few main qs a day, side quests and exploration. But yes, I'd imagine for more hard-core gamers it's short. Certainly replaying it now at a faster speed it seems the case.

​@joshwyliemusic2296 no bud in general the game is just short. If you did zero side quest " except for needed ones " then you can complete the game in about 30 hrs if not less. I beat the game in 41 with doing more than half the side quest. I love this game to death but it's way way to short for n rp open world game

i agree we all work so hard on our character that we don't want to loose it all i hope that if it is a sequel that we get the option to get a new design wand and that the wand will change bvase on what u got like right now u can make ur wand as long as u want or as short as u want it doesn't change at all not short or long want i also would really like to get a possibility to get a wand that look like professor fig wand i like the organic vibe it give with the handle looking like one of the botanical that we can get

If there’s a sequel, I’d like to see it branch towards career building in wizarding world. There isn’t much info in source material about life after hogwarts, so perhaps mc becomes auror or curse breaker etc after graduation? If not then I hope the game is a bit more detailed in the story aspect, specifically with npc interaction and quests.

They need vastly different enemy types. It's still nonsense that as big as the map was, that they wouldn't relegate certain enemies to certain regions.

Imagine hogwarts legacy with the role playing aspect of baldurs gate 3

Here's all of my ideas for a sequel. 1. We finaly have a dragon mount, since it was known before, but wasn't meant to. I would love to ride on an Antipodean Opaleye. 2. All the characters will recognize u, regardless of different features from the 1st. 3. Before starting, u can add rather or not if you’ve turned Sebastian in; and the ending of the finale battle (open the repository, keep it a secret, or share with others when the time is right), as a means of continuing the story. Same for some of the side quests of rescuing animals for the folks in the Highlands. 4. Amit is officially the Ravenclaw companion. 5. There's an underwater vivarium in the RoR for your pet creatures that live there. 6. We met with the selkie merpeople of the black lake, just like Harry did. It'll b like our relation with the centaurs only no hostility. 7. Quidditch is back with the addition of choosing any position u want just like with the houses. Instead of always playing the seeker.

We don't want Amit as a Ravenclaw companion, he isn't interesting enough nor he is well written. Infact he is not even a character, just a stereotype in a trope. As a South Asian myself, he made me cringe and hurl in disgust. We need some new ravenclaw characters, coz apart from Samantha Dale, the rest were just straight up Pathetic. I myself am hoping that we get to meet some named Ravenclaw characters in the game which don't get to interact with at all, mainly there are three of them. Hector Fawley, Mahendra Pahalwan and Andrew Larson.

The relationship side quest were only of finding the astronomy tables and in the mines. Whereas Natty, Poppy and Seb got a whole lot more. If Amit does become the campanion with better writing and more quests, prohap u might change ur mind and feel better.

Hollywood has always portrayed South Asians in this way, especially South Asian men, and not just Hollywood, Western Media in General are known for doing that. And not only to South Asian men, but East Asian men as well. They always make them, Ugly, Nerdy, Geeky, Unattractive, Uncharismatic, Wimpy, Whiny, Cowardly, Non adventurous, Incompetent, and are always about "Academics". Infact, there is a whole hour long video on KZread by a White American Guy Titled " Desexualization of Asian Men In Hollywood". And the guy hit the nail right on the head by some really solid points he made. WB/Avalanche (Hollywood) Intentionally Hired Asif Ali to be the voice actor of Amit Thakkar, Coz Asif Ali always portrayes a stereotypical South Asian roles in Hollywood movies and tv shows, plus he has an extremely screechy and Shrilly voice. He is paid extra to sound annoying on purpose and do the stereotypical Hollywood 's version of South Asian accent. Coz that's not the accent of millions in South Asia. It's a Trope

The sequel will be much better They already have a 3D world created They will have time for more new things and most importantly they have our data, This means that they know what we like and what we don't like, and they also know what we expect from them.

they could definitely develop the hamlet locations more to the scale of Hogsmeade. I swear most of them are just there as generic huts to be looted for chests and demiguises. The only one I can remember off the top of my head is the hamlet with the house built into a tree and the one with Sebastian's house

Hi Mr. Snow, perhaps you can pass along a suggestion to Avalanche for the sequels: The gear & inventory system could really use improvement. Having limited gear slots doesn't make sense, and the appearance vs. attribute system is confusing. The developers should look to the example of Elden Ring, where not only all kinds of outfits and clothing but also weapons, key items, spells, etc. all fit neatly into a unified unlimited inventory system. And Elden Ring's ashes of war system for upgrading items seems cleaner than the magical loom mechanic. As for the nifty feature of being able to change the appearance of outfits while keeping their functionality, I would suggest dividing that screen into 3 parts. Left part: select what I'm actually wearing; middle part: character depiction; right part: select what it appears that I'm wearing. I would also like to see the restriction on broom flight in Hogsmeade removed.

THIS GAME WAS AMAZING! CONGRATULATION TO THE DEVELOPERS AND GAME DESIGNERS THAT MADE THIS GAME POSSIBLE! THIS IS LIKELY THE BEST GAME TO COME OUT SO FAR! A SEQUEL MUST HAPPEN. IMAGINE THE PROFITS AND THE SATISFACTION OF EVERYONE WORLDWIDE! THIS SERIES IS LIMITLESS BASED ON THE LORE. I HOPE THE SEQUEL BRINGS A BIGGER MAP, MORE DETAILED EXPLORATION, MORE CONSEQUENCIAL GOOD AND EVIL CHOICES AND MORE IN - DEPTH INTERACTION OVERALL BETWEEN THE CHARACTER, NPC AND THE WORLD. I can't wait for a sequel. AVALANCHE is using Unreal Engine 5 so the world will be AMAZING. Hogwarts Legacy was a great base so know they can expand and do more than before. Reminds me of Jedi Fallen Order to Jedi Survivor. Fallen Order was great base and Survivor made everything even better. If we get a DLC that would be great but to me, it's not the end of the world. We waited for Hogwarts Legacy and the wait was worth it. I know the sequel/potential DLC will be worth the wait.

God I'm really excited for the sequel of Hogwarts Legacy. Especially hope they do more new spells and new fantastic beasts. Even riding them, like we know the hippogriff, threstrals,graphorns. And most hoping on riding a dragon!!❤ I'm also curious about fighting most dangerous enemies than the last game, solving mystery challenges, finding treasure chest, hanging out with the same friends from Hogwarts and new friends ❤. And of course, saving magical creatures from poachers.

7:30 to me, the words "at this event" is just meant to be in comparasion to Back To Hogwarts from last year.

The best part is I think Hogwarts Legacy is based on the Unreal Engine 4 and if that is the case if and when they use UE5 they can reuse All or most of the assets from UE4 but UE5 will enhance Hogwarts I suspect when Hogwarts Legacy 2 comes out I bet it will look and feel like a completly different game

Wishlist: - Could take place in other schools. Ilvermorny Legacy, Uagodou Legacy, Durmstrang Legacy etc allow for more wiggle room in terms of continuity and won't have to consider the outcome of Hogwarts Legacy - More actual quests set inside the main school. There were a lot of cool locations included in Hogwarts Legacy but nothing happens in them. Just revelio pages and chests - Animagus skill tree - Patronus being usable - Common room having some actual use. I haven't returned to mine after getting the decked out Room of Requirements hideout - Separate Keybind for broom on pc. it's so clunky at the moment having to open the tool wheel and press 3 rather than just pressing B. I can't tell you how many times I tried getting on my broom and accidentally dropped my cabbages - For the hamlets, I was hoping for more unique locations akin to Hogsmeade. Usually it's just 3 or 5 same-y looking houses meant solely for looting with no inhabitants and one shop - Also quidditch, I guess.

Unreal 5 can be a beast if used properly. Looking forward to the future 🍷

A well written story with companions you can have relationship building cut scenes and moments that involve choice matter would be so much fun. Choices that matter would be amazing. I want to be able to actually effect the world and build an actual personality that isn't just decided for me. There are some games that nail this so well, I know it can be done.

I pray to GOD this is real and they do a sequel or at least a new Hogwarts game (doesn't have to be a sequel or continue the story or anything - actually I would much prefer a new story, maybe involving the tri-wizard tournament, or going back in time with the founders of hogwarts, or even being set in the medieval times or going to other magic schools like durmstrang or whatever it's called). Remember, the current HL game looks nice on PS5/XSX and higher end PC's, but the base of the game (the gameplay, physics, ai and npc interactions, etc) all can run on old ancient hardware like a switch or PS4/XOne, so if they not only used UE5's INCREDIBLE capabilities but also made the game next-gen only the quality of not just the graphics but the gameplay itself would VASTLY improve as well and it would be such an incredible experience since the new consoles have blazing fast SSD capabilities and can transfer huge amounts of data in seconds, the possibilities literally would be endless in terms of what they would wanna do creative wise, it's so exciting to think about. I believe it to be true for sure since the game was that successful out the gate generating so much revenue for them I don't see why the would not pursue another new game since there is so much they can do given the expansive lore of the wizarding world...

I know for myself, playing HL was so much fun and very immersive feeling like you're actually at Hogwarts HOWEVER, the quests would get repetitive and the way the NPC's would all talk and show emotion for a second on their faces but then the second they stop talking the expressions would completely drop and they would have resting b*tch face afterwards as well as the way the NPC's walk around so robotic and slowly, ALL of that got old really quick and takes you out of the game. This is the kind of stuff they could VASTLY improve with the next-gen hardware improvements and of course UE5's capabilities, which also improves every couple of months, there's already been vast improvements with nanite(for example it now works with foliage) and Lumen(it looks even better now, more accurate and reflections look a ton better too) and it's only been like a year and a half since UE5 officially launched for production, imagine in a few years how much more it will improve while they work on the next game?!? Sooooo exciting to think about!! :DDDDD

The sequel will take a while, especially if they're using Unreal Engine 5. To keep the hype and potential funds, they should release DLCs. If they want folks to play the Quidditch game, they have to tie it to Hogwarts Legacy so those same HL players will play Quidditch. Similar to how Pokemon Go and other Pokemon games are synced with rewards and etc. I imagine they'll partially focus on DLCs once they finish the Switch port of the game.

Yeah, I'm looking for a DLC more than the sequel game. Of course I'll be interested in a HL sequel, but for now since I already have the HL game there's a lot I want to see continue in that game. For one, I really want a DLC that adds the ability to make more than four player characters. Of course there's the comments posted, including mine, on your earlier videos concerning the Room of Requirement and vivariums and I would like to see those ideas in a DLC, but the first thing I'm hoping for, even wishing for, is to expand the number of player characters allowed.

i hope they add more of a fantastic beast vibe not just harry potter like both

I really hope they will implement RPG systems like: 1) Ability scores (Intelligence, Strength, Charisma, Dexterity, Luck etc) 2) Classes. 3) Passive Skill Tree (That allows you to do different kind of builds like a Thieve or a Sneaky Wizard/Witch) 4) Stuff like mana, stamina. 5) Equipment build that matters and allows for different builds depending on the character/build that you want to play (step 3) 6) Morality system. Basicaly D&D systems that every successful RPG uses in some extent like Skyrim, and The Witcher 3. (DIablo/Path Of Exile are probably the most RPG system-heavy games!). They should also improve exploration and the rewards that you get from that, because in the first game this is almost not present at all or extremely boring. Imagine how much better the gameplay will feel with these improvements!

This gane is an absolute masterpiece. Ive played four times, each house and it never gets tiring. The detail that has gone into this is wondrous.

I hope that they add more to the room of requirement, I also would like to get at least one other phoenix in the upcoming DLC, and done new wand designs would be nice Ultimately, with all my heart, the number one thing I hope they fix is the hair and how it just goes through collars.

I think they will add a lot to this game, but clipping through clothes and stuff I think will still be there to some extent. It happens almost in every game

I am not sure if anyone has said or thought of this but, for the Hogwarts Legacy 2 I would like maybe an online Tournament play in the style of the Harry Potter Goblet of fire with that Tri Wizard cup. It would be amazing to be able to compete with other players for that Cup. Also, maybe have online Quidditch Matches.

Yes! That's what I was thinking for a while too! There's lots they can do with a new Hogwarts game (whether it's a sequel or a new one completely), there's the tri-wizard tournament(this could either just be apart of the story or an online mode of some sort), there's the founders of hogwarts(maybe the game takes place during their time in the early hogwarts days, or maybe time travel is involved and we can visit the past), maybe the story involves traveling to other schools of magic (america, france, russia, japan, etc.), and so much more. There's LOADS of magical beasts not utilized yet(I reeeeeally wanna see a Basilisk, that's my favorite deadly beast of all), loads of spells they can use, and can even utilize other historic events and characters, there's so much lore to work with in the wizarding world, and with the financial success of the game I don't see why they wouldn't make another...

I look forward to a story where you need to go to London, Beauxbaton, Durmstrang, Ilvermorny, and MACUSA and other Magic academies around the world. Also, stories like playing as one of the houses in Ilvermorny,. Where is even The Cave of Tom Riddle?

A DLC with on the 6th year and perhaps during a scholarship in another Wizarding School we've never seen... I'm actually more hyped for DLC than HL2, coz I'm so fond of my character

We need Quidditch on Hogwarts Legacy II and also Expecto Patronum and the option to choose our Patronus Just imagine going outside the walls of Hogwarts at night inside the forbidden forest or beyond to Highlands and fighting dementors using the Patronus charm for me that would be awesome addition!!

Time to make a movie based on my this story

i literally will be so upset if they dont build on to sebastian's story, it felt like such a huge cliffhanger? like is anne just dead after she runs away? will she find a cure? idk, i love the characters in HL and dont want them to disappear if they choose to timeskip to another era :(

I believe they have created amazing characters and a very interesting story with Sebastian.. I feel like they are going to continue it in the next one.

While a lot of us get excited for Hogwarts Legacy 2 and rightfully so, i just cannot wait for HL dlc!!!

Hogwarts Legacy hasn't even come out for Nintendo and they are already in the mix of making the second game wow!

I hope the game would be more replayable. I’ve noticed the game isn’t worth coming back to after completing it. But that’s my opinion.

Anyone wanna help me get remaining collectables and conjugations? So close to getting the platinum

I really hope then will not take us for dummies as they did in the first one..

Does anyone have an estimate of how long the sequel will take?

In terms of how long the production will be? I think it’s safe to bet it will take about 3-4 years to make it

I still feel like leaving out quidditch was their biggest mistake. That would have kept up the play time.

It seems like a hard design to transfer into a video game honestly. It doesn’t surprise me they didn’t have it in the game.

if theres a sequel, or new harry potter game anything like that, I beg them to get a good colour scheme in the game, I love the game but I honestly get bored playing after a while and after the story purely because the game isnt beautiful enough to just play it even partially just to see how 'beautiful' and 'gorgeous' it is, im not saying that the design isnt beautiful, but the colours, its so darn grey, the game is so grey, the nature environments look grey, dead and boring, lifeless, if you look at grass outside look how beautiful and green it is such a nice bright green, if I take a picture of that and look at it on an lcd screen, it would like miles better than hogwarts legacy on OLED, the colour scheme on hogwarts legacy is like they threw a grey plate over it, its just dead and boring. but besides that, the game is fun to play but I want it to be something I would come back to, also I'm a HUGE harry potter fan so its not like im shitting on the game to shit on harry potter because I just wanted this game to be amazing

Yeah, but i bet they will only bring it out for new gen consoles. I only have ps4 and not thinking of buying ps5. I am still upset i wont be able to play spiderman 2 :(

I think they should not make a hoqwarts legacy sequel a good 6 hour dlc on Sebastian or something would be fine with me. I feel like they should go on to other themes like pirates of the Caribbean or Lord of the rings

I want a Hogwarts Legacy in Ilvermorny or Durmstrang.

They could create schools and worlds based on medieval eastern European architecture or design an American school and community around the architecture of gilded age mansions like the Biltmore estate.

we want also better reactions and smarter NPCs.If you cast a death curse they should react accordingly not just ignore it!!! Also , exploration cave system etc was too repetitive , they need to add diversity to the game!!

I'd like to see Hogwarts Mystery in the Hogwarts Legacy style and engine.

I still cannot understand why they would make a quest a console exclusive, i've Never heard of such a ridicules thing being done. If we paid the same price, i expect to get the same damn content.

They better listen to our feedback. otherwise it will be underwhelming. they promised so much for HL but it didnt happen. HL was good but it wasnt GREAT

I'm looking forward to sequel even though I was never able to beat the final boss. Just accepted I could not complete the game, but still 98%'d it.
