Loved the game! That being said, you don't feel like a student - the main thing I wanted from it. Cutting the ability to bring other students with you was a HUGE HUGE HUGE miss 😢

Yeah, it always felt like the trio was doing stuff together in the films.. While in the game it doesn’t feel overly alone, still we could use some more of that interaction with students.

Absolutely!

Even though i wish we had some of these ideas in the first game. I'm glad that they prioritized other parts to make sure the game was playable. The game had been delayed enough times. Even with somethings not in the game, they did good for a first game. Even with things being cut, I can still see the LOVE and PASSION they have for this world. I hope we can see them expand on what was in Hogwarts Legacy and add new things to it. Things i would like: • morality system • even greater customization • quidditch • more differences between the 4 houses • delving deeper into ancient magic • unique rewards for friendship quests • more immersion inside the game, like sitting • more choices and consequences

Morality system would be amazing. I hope the next game has something to do with the ministry. I would love to see our character having a job at the ministry, I also wish that they had owls at the end of the year. As stupid as it sounds it would add a whole new dimension of life and reality to the game

​@@lylarulesthegalaxymaybe we are like a student intern. We as the player can decide which department we would like to be in. Each department could add specific buffs like Auror means you have more powerful combat abilities. Like how in The Witcher 3, the Blood and Wine DLC gave us new mutations that unlocked unique abilities.

What I think could be pretty cool for our character could be choosing our personality. During character customisation, we could have options such as 'Funny', 'Kind', 'Rude/Evil' which will heavily influence character dialogue and available choices during dialogue. Maybe we could pick two of those and be a funny dark/evil wizard/witch? This would require an insane amount of writing, but the game probably has a huge budget and an extremely solid foundation, so a lot of budget could be directed towards narrative.

I really hope they expand on everything in your list in HL2! Also I really want us to be able to continue as our MC and import them into the next one (Mass Effect style). For a first game, Avalanche did an incredible job, and I'm still playing this religiously nearly 6 months later! Sadly, I highly doubt Quidditch will be on their list of priorities to include due to the new Quidditch game coming out soon, but I'll be super surprised if they don't go into detail with the other elements mentioned. If it'll take several more years for them to release a sequel so that we can get everything, then I'll be happy to wait!

It feels empty, it’s like walking through a museum. It’s weird that the students just disappear when it gets dark and they just respawn in the morning. Even though they are there, you can’t talk to them, you can’t attend classes more than once like you can in Hogwarts mystery for ex. and freely. Not to mention you can’t even lay/sleep in your bed and you should be able to sit freely whenever you want! Not adding companions and romance is also a missed opportunity. There could be a Yule Ball. You get to save the world, but can’t attend a party, ridiculous.

I really do hope we get some kind of DLC that adds these features back. Especially the companion one. Each house has so many different characters we can talk to, yet you don't get to actually do anything with most of them. Definitely a missed opportunity. I'd love a full-fledged friendship system.

The game feels really lonely once you complete all quests. I found a companion mode, where you can travel the world with many of the NPCs and it makes the whole experience so much better!

I said on another video, i want to do all 7 years. Have OWLs and all things you do lead you down a path towards good or evil wizard/witch. And there should be an over lying arch. Basically, i want to live out a new Potter series about our character

Looks like full 7 years would be less likely, but there’s a chance they’ll go year 6 for sequel and year 7 afterwards 🤔

1. Dragons in the game could serve as a Triwizard Tournament task, would love to experience a Triwizard Tournament in the sequel. This could be intertwined with the main story line, serving as quests, unlocking special abilities, spells, etc, required to advance in your story. And I also loved the way the wizards get the miniature versions of the dragons they are going to encounter in the fourth film. 2. Well, I might actually assume that it would be a good idea to be able to purchase the Floo Powder and not just get it for free in the sequel. I might presume that even in the wizarding world it costs some galleons and it's not just there free for everyone. Yeah, and the Floo Powder animation is undoubtedly anticipated to see in the sequel. 3. Quidditch. Yeah, that was a truly smart move not to add that taking into account that they are preparing Quidditch Champions as a discrete Quidditng experience. Just let us use the broom - I am fine with that. But I would actually like to have some better broom skins in the sequel. As for me - I liked only 1 or 2 of them. 4. The character creation menu - just fine, but more features would be appreciated. Like blood status, more options with face sculpting. Male characters seems ok, but female characters in the game are completely chlidish, as for me. Starting with the voice pitch, finishing with the face feacutes, posture and basic model. Also, would love to be able to change my height and body composition. 5. Choosing a companion from a variety could give us certain boosts needed for the quests - one could give us more damage versus spiders, other can increase stealth efficiency and so on... 6. For the spells I've written quite a poem on you another video, xDDD 7. Have no clue about how points system might work, but when we DO agree to come and fly in the Hogwarts surroungings together with classmate - some points must be drawn from ur house. As well as if you gain maximum points in the Summoner's Court quests - your house might earn a great deal of point. We might expect an award for leading your house to a victory in the end of the year. But I have no wonder how this has to work to be a balanced and just. 8. Romance system is just a nice feature - not more. Can't think of how it can help or distract us in the game, xDDD 9. Sitting could be a feature like in Assassin's Creed - to overhear some important information about the event or the person. You just put on you hood, sit on the bench and listen, xD

I'm not sure about the MC backstory element here. Everyone's character is different and they create their own backstories with them. I do hope the MC returns in the sequel of course! It would be great if the sequel could span their sixth and seventh year at the school before entering into the wizarding world.

i just have a few wish that if they make a sequel that its just an extension kind of think of the current hogwart legacy they just increase the max lvl and increase the size of the map that way we wouldn't loose all of the spell and gear we acquire through out the first game second i want quidditch obviously and that we can have like an actual real quidditch game inside hogwarts legacy and next i want to be able to visit diagon alley with the possibilities to visit the ollivander there so that u can get a new wand and i would like that instead of finding every wand handle u can buy some of them that way u won't have to go through all the trouble of finding them all to get the one u want

Best recommendation is to reach to support team from the HL website. There’s a bug report screen there

Hopefully we can use unsupported flight in the sequel. We see the Dark wizards use it in Hogwarts legacy but we can't use it. And in the sequel the colour could change depending on our morality. Good = White. Evil = Black.

If they do come out with a sequel I would like to able fly anywhere and over anything without a invisible field blocking me and to Teleport any I can't spell the word they use from the movie I know it begins with the letter a and would want more wand Customization than just the handle

My biggest critiques were that I didn’t feel like a stupid, the classes were interactive enough, and not enough quests related to the castle and classes. I also didn’t find much to interact with at the castle, you couldn’t do anything in the library or kitchen or common room etc, and you can’t interact with random students

I think Avalanche got all its OWLs in project management 🤭, at least from the outside world. Choosing features to cut and knowing where to ask for extra time is IMO what makes great game studios. Now I'm keen to seen what they come up with in the sequel - everything enhancing role-play for me is key.

i really would enjoy a morality system, more demand on stealth whats point having a spell to make you disappear if your only really use it on the mission you learn it, prefects and teachers not walking the halls giving me free run of anywhere and everywhere makes less of a challenge to go anywhere. As far as house points i'd like it if there was a challenge mode on missions the better you handle a mission say duel club activities but your not hit or taken down once you get full marks thus full house points i could get behind that with alternate endings or a trophy to getting the house cup, i think if the act of quidditch would be to much on the stability of the main game they should make the act of quidditch its own pocket game throw that the multiplayer so you can battle for your house against others online just que for what position you want we could even compete in seasons like rocket league for the cup

Some of the things in this list I would love to have in Hogwarts, but the rest like the crime system can stay out of it. But the Morality were you can look more evil with every bad thing you do in the game would have been great. So yeah if there going to be a HL2 bring it on with more stuff in to it.

4:45 What I would like to see in the next game would be more companions!! Maybe more Ravenclaw companions in the future game? Maybe hanging out with them more or maybe romancing Poppy; I know it’s a big stretch; but I literally just made up a backstory for my MC. That would be nice picking the birthdate, the blood status and everything else but I want more companions. I just want my MC to hang out with Poppy. But if they are making another one, I hope they kind of continue with the MC in their sixth year of Hogwarts, but they have to come up with new enemies and other stuff and maybe our ancient magic is more powerful. I don’t know? Who knows? My apologies for the long since but I really hope we see more companions Ravenclaw mostly and everything else. I just said again my apologies for the long sentence and I hope this makes sense??

It sounded like we were supposed to pick a half of student. Well I mean, Poppy basically but I just will never know. I just went on one of her uncut lines.

i hope in the sequel, that the story of sebastian, anne and ominis is continued, with perhaps sebastian being able to heal, anne being cured (perhaps with ancient magic?) and overall let that story come to a more conclusive end than it did in this game, because i know that some stories do not end happily, but this one left me unsatisfied and it felt a little unfinished. what do you think? otherwise, this is the best game i have ever played!

I hope they do something unique for the Sequel and don't just re-use the castle and same map. The Harry Potter world, while it really only revolved around Hogwarts, wasn't limited to that one small area of Earth. It would be nice if we could explore some more of the world and follow a story that doesn't revolved and immersion breaking school mechanics.

So are they making part 2 then? It's such a good game. I wish I could talk to each character in the map. I wish they used that new AI tech to create a random conversation. Would be cool to be able to sell everything In our store. Why can I buy potions but not sell them? The caves need to be different and not so plane.

I can see why alot was cut. However there are several vital aspects that really should not have been cut out. Companion system for one & not just for the main 3...could have had Amit be the one to lead us or help with the exploration of AM...not gonna lie he felt like a joke given how little time we get with him. Our character/story/BG Student Life Morality system Worthwhile loot that include new AM powers & dark arts Greater variety of foes More spells Much better dungeons......the ones out with quests were terrible in this game. They tried to do to much & fell really short with alot. Not bashing the devs, I know they wanted to include a lot more. I personally just can't give the game anything above overall a 5/10, I'd rate other aspects higher though. Thanks for the video Benjamin & have a nice day :)

No wonder after I played hogwars legacy many times it always felt like a proof of concept rather than a full scale harry potter styled game. what I really want is more visitable locations may be a few other magical schools, next more beast and more potions more spells, we certainly didn't have all of them in one. Next the ability to call one or more friend out on a adventure, better quest reward system. and I kind of also want our character to have a suitcase like newt scamander's since the only way to travel is to bring you home along with you.

I will say I'm thinking they removed these features because of the hardware they were using they may be easier to run and look better on the PS5 and Xbox Series X/S but the game was still being built for the PS4 and Xbox One for a majority of it's development if memory serves me right maybe that's why these features we're removed so that the game could run ...oh yeah just wanna add I want to be able to add my players backstory in the game Pureblood Halfblood stuff like that because in the 1800's and even in Harry's time this was a huge deal to the wizarding community you just need to encounter a certain Headmaster to understand the energy towards anyone who's less than a "Pureblood" ....depending on the family tree it is terrible Edit: just look at Voldemorts family it is so bad

I doubt that Warner Bros would truly want to innovate for the sequel since it will deny them the opportunity to aggressively monetise said innovative features In completely separate Live Service Pay 2 Win mobile games. I’m sorry but I’m not letting that Quidditch cut for the Pay 2 Win mobile games to grift players bullshit go.. WB isn’t going to cannibalise their own potential Mobile Macrotransactions sales by selling a HP Game that comes with fully functional Quidditch mode that doesn’t have any Macrotransactions Strings Attached.. 🤨

Why not tell a vistory before. May be a medieval history, after or before the foundation of hogwarts. Or may be a history in another country.

For the sequal, I’m not sure if I’d prefer a new story or a continuation of the first game. For one, it would be interesting see what else will our character from the first game encounter. But also - we NEED the first year experience! With the money the studio got from the first game, would love to see higher quality cutscenes and animations, perhaps have us be 11 years old and get our Hogwarts letter. Then go to Diagon Alley and get to experience taking the train on platform 9 3/4, and taking the boat from the dock… Ah, hopes and dreams. 🥲😂
