She seems shallow. I wonder about her mental state, since she’s often overly giddy. And who puts up with being a “fiancé” for almost a decade ? Get married and THEN adopt kids. Make sure your husband really wants kids. I doubt he really wanted any but that wasn’t stopping her and he went along with it but it ruined the relationship. They’re old enough to be grandparents.

Did Hoda ask him to babysit too much she's gone a lot maybe that was the problem maybe she should have quit her job and she takes care of her kids and a husband

Something big had to happen but she’s not going to say what it is. So sad.

How does this happen? She said she wanted to take her dying breath with this man. All she has talked about is how much she loves him. How in the world do you just decide to be friends? This makes me feel so very sad for her. There is something she is not saying and I sure wish I knew what the heck destroyed this wonderful relationship.

Just tell the truth as you know it enjoy your kids and treat them well

She says "The relationship was just for a Season" 8 yrs and 2 kids that did'nt ask for any of this is not a "Season" Why did'nt they just go get married and party when it was OK. He kept saying "Let's just do it" Ya should'a just done it!!!!!

She is full of it. She is hiding something. But really it's none of our business.l

Honda - you are my mentoring sister. We are the same age and I watch you for all things classy. Something happened and you are too classy to dish the chum into the infested waters. I’m glad you are not airing your most private life. Relationships are a very private matter. God speed beautiful lady. 🙏❤️🥰

She was madly in love with this man and said so all the time. How does waiting too long take away from true love? If anything, I think it would strengthen it. Something happened and she is not saying.

I feel so bad for all concerned.

Yeah right you're yeah that's there's more to it than that you can't part ways and be friends after that long of time you might as well face the truth personally I couldn't live with either one of you nor would I want to I feel sorry for the children neither one of you should have doctored children at that your age

I love Honda, I think she will make a fantastic mom, and I think her kids are very blessed to have her. But there’s definitely more to what happened to what seemed to be a perfect relationship. It makes me very sad for her.

Hoda, in 2007 I lived in Hawaii for 2 months and when I got home I was in Greenwich Connecticut and I was followed a lot Frank Gifford had someone steal my luggage that was hidden in bushes. He stole everything I owned in that suitcase. Jesus told me, he and Kathie lee gave my items to goodwill. What the Hell is wrong with those two?

Hoda, I'm sorry to say I don't agree with you. When a person makes a commitment to another person as serious as marriage and then adopts children, you are on a life long journey. You and Joel are living as common law husband and wife. This is a Covenant with God and the Spouse. God takes this very seriously, it is not that you've grown bored or tired and think that you would like a change. Joel Shiffman seems to be a good man, he deserves better than this. I am sorry for both of you and the girls.

HODA IS LYING1 iT TAKES TIME FOR COUPLES TRULY IN LOVE TO PART WAYS AFTER 8 YRS OF COMMENTMENT .. What really happened, we will never know.

All she wanted was children not a husband.......There are two sides to the story. All those years all she could talk about is Joel.. When she got engaged that is all she talked about. Now I hope we will see him doing things with the children. Good grief - if he wishes to date who will want to have 2 small children in tow. A total soap opera.....She got her wish "children and thank goodness the 3rd try for adoption was halted." Two people don't talk over the holidays and decide not meant for this season...... I have been married 47 years and didn't realize there were seasons in a relationship. Weird!

I agree. My husband and I have been very much in love for over 55 years and I cannot imagine, eight years into it, that we would just decide to be friends. She is holding something major back but she is too classy to say it.

I guess he got tried of her buying kids. Allegedly.
