I play in a few groups including a brass ensemble, and once when we were about to play the fugue, the announcer, who wasn't a musician, proudly announced to the crowd, "And now the ensemble will play "Fug You In De Minor". That got more applause than anything we played.

The kid with the perfect 1 clap in minute 20:40 !! amazing!! Mum you have a genius and you stopped him showing his power to the world hahahahaha
One of my most cherished memories was going to Powell symphony hall in St. Louis Missouri because my dad said you have to see them live!! 3 generations of trumpet players because of him. RIP dad. Thank you for the beautiful music and memory.
It is a long time since I heard the Canadian Brass for the first time - in the Radio in l982 in Winnipeg. From there on I had the privilege to visit concerts in Winnipeg and in Basel and Bern. It is wonderful to listen and see them again thrugh youtube, being back in Switzerland since 1084. They are still very good and charming. Elisabeth Rüegger

Yes, thanks for the upload and for lightening our load with a full hour video. Listening to this and other Canadian Brass videos using Kirkland Signature hearing aids plus original Apple earbuds, my husband said “beautiful” for the first time since hearing the MN orchestra in Tchaikovsky’s 6th a few years ago. Thank you Joanne and Larry for Bernhard Weiser’s incredible namesake. Best to all.

It's the start of a medley of Gershwin songs from Porgy and Bess. All of this is on one of their albums, too. From a long time ago with mostly original members where only Chuck (tuba) remains as an original here.

So if you wanna grow hair, play the piccolo trumpet.
Yeah,... Ok... But,... C'mon! Get a a classic old Conn 8D for the French horn. Really. Get some real sound. Hate all ya want, but I'm dead on, here.
