Siobhan Baillie MP, whose nephew has Down's syndrome, was moved to speak in the Down Syndrome Bill debate. Here, she highlights the issues that Don't Screen Us Out is concerned with:
"We've got a real issue with people sort of feeling that they need to have terminations when they're told about Down's syndrome. There's a big campaign about not screening out children with Down's syndrome, because they live very fulfilled lives and bring great joy to so many people. So, I think education for all is really important.”
