nice small haul, i'm a fan of "only what's necessary" 😅. i was one of those who received a bunny weeks planner with a quality control issue: the back flap was glued very crooked. i was shocked when i saw it. luckily, hobonichi's customer service is very good and quick, and they sent me a replacement. as much as i like the design of the bunnies cover, i think i won't get a fabric planner the next time 🤗

yes, i also prefer "only what's necessary" ! i'm glad to hear that hobonichi provided such good customer service- it's a shame that the fabric covers had so many issues this year because it would be cute to collect each special yearly book (like the 2023 bunnies, the 2022 tigers etc) but i'll be nervous in future!

Such lovely choices! I also only did a small order but I think that's kind of nice, choosing only the things you really love makes them more special somehow? We have matching plastic covers for our Weeks! But my Weeks book is yellow (so sorry I am THAT yellow person, I love yellow 😅). So looking forward to seeing more videos of you using your Weeks, it's so wonderful so far 🥰

yes, i agree- small purchases feel much more special! and haha that's ok- i don't have a problem with yellow people i just can't relate at all 😅 will definitely keep updating on how i'm using my weeks!

Thank you for sharing your haul! Glad to see you still found a few things from this year's lineup that you liked! I believe the sentence in your cover says: "happy nothing special day", which is a phrase often added to covers in 'hidden' places ☺️

yes that's the one in the 'have a nice day' cover, thank you! when i put the one in the purse into google translate it said 'happy birthday' so i'm not sure if it's accurate, but it's cute nonetheless! i really love the hidden messages 😌

I never really thought about what's my least favorite color, but now I came to the agreement that is orange (not so far from your yellow hahahsha)

I am waiting for my Hobonichi delivery. It says it should be delivered today and I am so nervous 😅 I am so anxious. I also purchased directly from them because the other sellers are extremely expensive. In my currency it would cost a bit over 1k just the notebook and the shipping is about half of it (us based store because I’m in Mexico), but from the official store I got 5 items two cover on cover, two covers, and the day-free for the same price of one notebook, including shipping. I’m glad I took the time to check and compare prices. The only thing I don’t like is waiting. We also had a holiday that delayed the order and an earthquake yesterday 😅, it did not affect my city terribly, but good thoughts for the west coast of my country would be appreciated. So I am quite nervous today, but a bit of a surprise video helps. Happy Tuesday to you too. ❤

Nice haul! I only got three things, and one was a 'kinda have to get this English a6 too' because the shop I use didn't sell a6 covers separately and I desperately wanted a specific cover😅

a small haul is a good haul! it's such a pain when you cant buy the cover separately, but i think its because official resellers aren't allowed to sell them separately. it's a term set by hobonichi for official resellers, if i remember correctly!

@@MeganRhiannon could be! Though they did offer a5 covers only, but not a6😅 So that might be a difference of the sizes maybe?🤔 Small haul is definitely better imo☺️

I was super tempted by the Notte cover also, it’s so nice looking. Lovely choices, all of these. I agree with you that small defects aren’t worth being bothered by. It’s wabi-sabi, right?

honestly im so surprised by how much i like the notte cover! the quality feels very high, and it's very soft. and yes, wabi-sabi! obviously if it was to the extent of some of the issues others have had i probably wouldn't feel the same, but i'm grateful i was one of the lucky ones 😅

May I ask what the little plastic piece that came with your techno is? I bought the same one but don’t know what it’s for or how to use it. Does it go on the corner of pages? Or does it act like a pocket for the note book?

Wow, that clear cover with animals looks so magical! But yeah, blue cover of book is too bright 😅 But that looks good anyway, like constellations in the early morning sky Congratulations, I'm really happy for you liking your purchase 🎃❤️

How do you plan on keeping the purse clean? I also got one and I’m so scared to take it out bc there is no plastic cover I can put over it like the normal covers!

not sure, to be honest! i bought it with the intent for it to protect my notebook while it's in my bag/moving around the house etc, so i'm expecting a little wear. i'm not too worried, hopefully it can be wiped clean with a damp cloth. sometimes it's nice to see how things get worn over time, i don't mind when things look used or 'lived in'. the quality is good though, i don't think it will damage or fall apart very quickly!

I recommend Amazon Jp account to order in future. I’m also in the UK.

Do you get charged duty? I bought COPIC pens from Amazon a few years ago but they came direct from Japan. I was charged duty and also charged £5 by Royal Mail to send me a note to say I owed duty and they couldn’t release until it was paid. I’m not sure if it was the amount but was under £100 from memory or that I had it delivered c/I a business address as was going to be on holiday?! I’ve not had Hobonici before so have no idea where to order from later this year

yes i realised it was a bit! when i put my phone in the tripod i can’t actually see the screen at all so i have to position everything and hope for the best. i thought it looked ok enough, most of what i was talking about was in view! sorry though, i know it’s annoying 🙇🏻‍♀️
