I Use the Hw Max8 G2 in my Maxx V1 and it turned into a new car... cant wait to Upgrade my Maxx V2 :D

did you use the whole system or just the max8 g2? i wanna change out the 4vxl in my v2 and put on sledge 3.8 tires. so im aiming for more stabil power and cooler system. do tell what wheelsize and gearing you use :)

@@RCReviewChannel I run the firms150 ecs it came with an a 1900kv spektrum it’s a 4274 6s thing absolutely rips in my v5 typhon that’s exb… I want the g2 with 2250kv to replace the max8 combo with 2200kv in my torn tuned typhon

Got one for my maxx their black Friday sale was too hard to pass at $200 Wonder if I'll need a fan 🤔 Think the traxxas heatsink will fit the can?

This my second maybe third time watching this & need advice. I’m replacing the electronics in my Fireteam and considering the regular Max 6 or this new Max 8 25kv. What are your thoughts I definitely want it to be faster then the stock Spectrum stuff. ???

Can I use this combo on a 1/8 buggy? Because on the HW website it says that it is for trucks and monster trucks.

I have the 6s version for the Mojave, and the 4s version for the Traxxas Slash Ultimate :)

It’s about time hobbywing caught up. They where always the standard and Excellent ESC. But now there better then castle with these new sensored systems and are completely compatible with Castle Creations sensored motors and others. The turbo tuning is crazy and the new 14s combo is crazy.

Hello 🖐 I recently bought a max8 g2 4278 2250kv combo, and in my combo there are no additional cables to solder on another motor, and the color of the thermal sheaths at the ends of the wires already soldered on the motor they are blue young orange not black like yours, Do you have any idea why it's like this in my house? Or if it's normal? 🤔 Thank you in anticipation! 🖐

Is it enough to go with this setup on a arrma felony or i put a bigger motor and 8s?

Felony, this is definitely enough. If you want to go 100mph, then a bigger motor or a longer can is necessary. But then the car tears itself apart and it's only for speed runs/wrecks.

What size gear is on it looks visuess

Is there any similar option for the XMaxx?

not yet. You could put it in a xmaxx, but i would not recommend it. Maybe from Castle...but i am a hobbywing fan.

Is this motor suitable with the traxxas vxl 6s esc? Will it rune fine if we run it like that?

Francis, I love ur videos and have watched u for years now and respect ur reviews, and I will agree that hobbywing has great products….. and I mean this in no disrespect to u, but their customer service is absolutely terrible and the one guy that takes 90% of phone calls for USA customers is an absolute ass hat! (Pardon my language), but it’s true. Just arrogant and rude and a ball of attitude. Have u ever actually talked to him? I had an esc go bad about a year ago and had to talk to him, which took 5-6 emails before he would even call me direct, and he acted like I was an idiot who just bashed his mother or something. Wouldn’t even consider that something was wrong on hobbywings end. Real pain in the butt to deal with. It’s a Good thing their products are reliable…mostly… lol. Have a good day and nice new combo for sure. 👍
