I installed one of these in my Bomber with the bigger 3660 motor and it's FANTASTIC! Best Upgrade I ever made. I like that you can tell when you start 'warming it up' when the fan comes on.

What combo did you go with ?

Is the G1 still better for 3s speed runs because you are not limited to the 4mm bullet connectors and as they have the same power handling ability?

Great overview. I just bought the 4000kv version to replace the 12T Titan in my Rustler. Just waiting for it arrive. Thanks!

Did you end up getting it?

So if I have a 4000 kv motor of the timing is at 0 will I get 4000kv and if I turn the timing up I’ll get more kv? Or do I have to have the timing in the medium setting to get the rated 4000 KV the motor has?

Same with me. I have it sitting in my amazon cart for my gorgon, and im only hesitating because of the battery connection. I know i can cut and resolder a new connection but id rather not if theres an adapter.

Buy all the connectors you need to adapt and use a small bit of wire and make your own adapters saves some money

Hi 🙂 i got a udi 1202 brushless and i want to upgrade to brushless, but the motorshaft on the new motor is 5mm and the stock pinion gear is 3mm or 3.17! Im new at the hobby so not sure! The motor is a 3660 Surpass! What pinion do i need? Plz help me 🙏🏼 Love Rc Stuff podcast ☺️

And i can find any info on the stock pinion! I only counted that it is a 13 tooth pinion! Didnt say anything more on the pinion!

A program device is required.

Why have I never felt the need to program any of my ecs to throttle? I've done it afterwards with no noticeable differences. Hmmm

Some radios can be very close to the testing setup the ESC has. They all get tested, and calibrated before packaging.

It definitely does, it's usually most noticeable as you apply the initial throttle. Annoyingly lots of RTR vehicles actually don't come calibrated properly, not sure how they calibrate them in China but more often than not they are not done right

Can you use the Port for the Programming Box for a Fan?

The programming port runs from the BEC power. It can be used for simple fans and lights, but is not rated or spec'd to have a load.

Do you know which ABC wires to switch? I switched a and c. It goes fast in forward now, but it still has like a delay taking off. Then it flies.

I have a slash 4x4 with the max 10 sct combo i upgraded so much i built another slash 4x4 out of spare parts and i pit in a 3670 motor in it but does this esc handle a 3670 motor?

Yes. Even some 42 series Dia.

So can be used on sct with 3660 motor..only thing the kv is not high enuf for 3660 motor..

Depends on the application really. Some SCT's are fine with 3652 (540) motors, some really need the 3660 (550) size.

Did you end up getting this for your slash? If so how does it run? My slash motor is a bit cooked I think and want to try this combo

New 1080 8.4 this is only 7.4 makes no sense at all
