I'm really excited to run this HoBao Hyper 10SC. I've never had a short course truck, and I think this will be loads of fun. The Hyper 10SC is by no means a new rig. Some of you may remember when OFNA rebranded these and ran them under their line of rigs. Although it's an older rig, I think it still holds its own out there!

I had the tt version of this and I loved it. They don't say on the box but the driveshafts are actually spring steel and the quality is top notch for the price imo. Plus you gotta love the whine of those 32p gears.

Yeah, I'm pretty happy with what you get for the money. Definitely hits above its price! I bought the TT as well! 😉

32p?? I’m using a mod1 pinion on mine. I’m curious to know why you said 32p which is about 0.8mod. The truck uses a mod1 steel spur.

Yeah it has a meaty whine when the mod1 gears mesh together. I bought mine used so I’m curious to know if it’s just mine that has mod1, or if you were just guessing the pitch. Now we know!

Love the HoBoa (OFNA) SCTs! I have the 10th scale and the 8th scale! Both are awesome!

While I won't be racing it, it's definitely a fun rig to run!
Slash/sct wheelbase? Market is flooded with these types, but that's ok! Happy to see you dabble in the world bashers! It's stupid fun haha Interesting drivetrain though...🤔

It's actually been out for a few years when OFNA rebranded it. The model has been updated a little, and is now under the OEM Hobao brand since OFNA folded.
