Hoagie rolls using a bread machine. These are like getting a sandwich from a legit deli!

You guys! These are legit crusty hoagie rolls. These are the type of roll that you would get from your favorite Italian deli. The kind of bread that is soft in the middle but has a glorious crunch and crust on the outside. Once we figured these out my hubby will no longer eat a sandwich anywhere else. They are delicious!
You use our bread machine sandwich bread recipe. You can make this in a bowl easily if you don't have a bread machine. Here is the link to our original sandwich bread recipe or you can get that below as well. • Delicious and soft san...
Once it has done it's first rise in the bread machine you will remove it and do the rest by hand and in the oven. Start by separating the dough it into 8 balls for a 6 inch roll or 4 for a foot long roll. Let it rest about an hour once formed. Brush with an egg wash and bake in a 350 degree oven for 20 minutes.
Sandwich bread base recipe
1c. Warm water
1/4c. Warm milk
2 1/4t. Yeast or one pack
2T. Sugar
4T. Butter
1 1/2t. Salt
3 1/3c. Bread flour

    i finally got a chance to make these this past weekend and OH GOSH these are the BEST ! I ended up sending a few home with one of my sons ... and I know he's going to love them as much as we do. Now i have to plan a day to make multiple batches and keep some in the freezer for all times. They are just that good! Thank you for all your awesome recipes/videos!

    I’m so happy to hear that you liked them. We make them twice a week. My son goes nuts for them. I throw them in the oven at 350 for about 5 minutes before I use them and they are the perfect crust roll. They make amazing French bread pizzas too.

    Oh goodness. We’re from California and the donuts there are super good. The ones in the south aren’t! I’ve tried a few but nothing amazing enough to share yet. It’s one we’ve been working on though.

    We're in Georgia originally from Louisiana. We love it here but the only drawback is the doughnuts. In Louisiana every neighborhood has a doughnut shop and they are AMAZING!!! But I am going to try to make your hoagie roll recipe to make Kolaches...I will let you know how it goes... might add a little bit more sugar. We'll see! Thanks! Love your channel!
