Hey mate in UK here and just bought the same bike today on your recommendation. Same issues here with lots of crud on road and my pavement princess Harley Fatbob just wasnt cut out for it so I also got the dapper grey like yours which is comming in March. so thanks for the vid which made me pull the trigger. Ordered a few extras too. We'll journey this one together lol

Yep, yep and YEP! I bought mine late last year. I have a dapper white. I originally went into the dealer for another bike. As soon as I sat on the little Hunter, I knew it was the perfect bike for me. It’s a great little bike. Enjoy and ride safe, all the best!

True…..There were several things that made me choose this over the meteor and the classic…..one was definitely the nice little exhaust note:)

@Seanjames570 that’s awesome dude. I really appreciate you watching from there… I’ve basically turned my channel to focus far more on Royal Enfield than any other brand. And finally gotten attention from their North American focused team… it was like two years in the making….. so I’m really hoping that my relationship with them can grow and keep getting bikes from them for long term reviews and such like The Shotgun I currently am reviewing:) There aren’t a lot of moto vloggers/ whatever I am 😂 over here that focus on RE :) Hope your day is super Blessed.

I know someone in his 70s who got one last year, he had a Himalayan before. He loves it. Another friend had a Meteor 350 for a month, he's a reviewer, and he fell in love. He doesn't have room for one at the moment but we're all expecting him to make room this year. You couldn't get him off it. I was considering the Hunter but I might go for the Triumph 400 Speed instead. A bit more expensive but has more pep. Haven't decided yet. If you're in South West England, North Cornwall Motorcycles in Bude is a Royal Enfield dealer and they are also a grass roots garage who I thoroughly recommend.

Dude I own a Scout Rogue and I totally agree with you. I love the bike and it's great being out on the road with it in the summer, but it's kind of a chore to own and maintain. I've been thinking of a Royal Enfield Bullet 350 as a second bike. I can vouch for Sabintino Moto, cool shop and they're great folks!

My Hunter is my 8th Royal Enfield. I only wish they came in grown up colors. Mine is the gray tank with bits of turquoise. Everything else is black. They should make a solid gloss black version.

I'm so glad you got a hunter 350, i got my wife a meteor 350 and i got the classic 350 as our commuter bikes and they are awesome ! that 0% for 24 was a deal I couldn't pass up on.

Great looking bike! I'm actually in the exact same boat as you, commute to work and currently just own my Lowrider ST. I want a backup bike as well, and it's down to this one and potentially the Triumph Scrambler 400X. Gotta wait for those new Triumphs to come in so I can properly compare them. I'll keep an eye on this channel to see how your build goes

I have the rebel red hunter that I have put 3000 miles on. It gets a bit quicker after it breaks in. Nothing crazy but I could tell a difference. I’ve been very happy with mine

Love the Hunter 350 too. However, there's one thing that has holding me back somehow: the cost of the first service which, here in Australia, is really excessive. How do you feel about that?

I did it myself….. it’s not hard at all. I have a vid showing exactly how to do the oil change and there are others out there showing how to do the Tappet adjustment….. I didn’t make a vid of the Tappet adjustment only because it was my first time ever doing it…. But I will make one the next time I do it….. it looks way harder than it actually is. Before you do any job like that just watch a few others people vids several times before you do it yourself and have your phone handy so you can revisit a vid as you go through the steps :) I’m not certain if it affects your warranty if you do the tappets yourself or not but honestly for me I want to know how to work on and maintain my own bike and it’s a really great feeling not having to rely on anyone else…. Stuart Fillingham has a vid on the Tappet adjustment and I think he may talk about whether or not it affects your warranty. The only thing I would disagree with him on is he completely removes the gasket which isn’t necessary. Let me know if there’s anything else you want to know about the bike….. I’m putting the finishing touches on a Shootout vid between the Hunter 350 and the Shotgun 650 showing their strengths and weaknesses…. Should be fun 🤓

My first bike was dct rebel, fun bike, now that I have a lowrider st, I kind of miss the light weight bike. Just for town, it would be nice, longer rides I would stick the lowrider, but in town I get it now. Just get on and ride, not having to push a heavy bike, or the fear of dropping it. I'm definitely gonna look into these bikes

Scouts look great.. but i agree with your point.. i would take my Rebel 500 out over my other bikes all the time. I flipped out of the 500 and gonna get a triumph 400 1 of them or this hunter 350 My buddy has the scout not me.. and he has a 45k Harley..looks nice but he hates it.

Hahahahaah yeah the scout is a bit of a beast in the handling department just have to be way more focused…. If it’s easy riding you want yep this is the bike.

@@FASTLANEMOTO over in Minnesota. So I'm kind of biding my time to get back to riding right now haha. Been warm enough that I could still work on it at least. I had a Suzuki M50 before the hunter. Great bike, but I'm with you. Something small and fun just needed to happen. Hunter nails it.

I literally bought mine like an hour ago. Same color. It's being delivered on June 16th, though. Can't wait to get on it. Lol

Agreed my friend! Coming out of the big American cruiser world and discovering Royal Enfield has brought new joy into my life. There has been a lot of chatter about how the 350 aren’t the right bike for the American roads…. But that is subjective…it totally depends on the Type of ridding you want to do:) I’ve been a commuter motorcyclist for the past 5-6 years…. There is no way a big heavy bike with a huge engine is a better choice than the light nimble offers of RE:) and with the 650 line you could absolutely cruise across the states:)

I seen videos of people saying echo is worst gas mileage then sport.

Sorry to hear that man. I have always been super close to my Dad and dreaded the day he would leave me but honestly man there is a special grace that came upon me and helped me through:)

hey pal i have a 2014 enfield 500 classic indian import twin spark i owned for 4 yrs yes they rust and yes you need tools and knowledge but trust me on this i had the 350 for 4 days on trial ... trust me this bike will let you down and cost you money ... they do not like rain and winter .. im a enfield guy but trust me on this the electrics will give you problems no matter what you do to protect them ....
