May he RIP . Brave man. My grandad was in the Royal Navy from 1917 to 1946. He spent the late 1920s to early 1930s on HMS Repulse.

Perhaps a modern minefield should be placed around both vessels with sufficient warning signs in Chinese Afterall both ships are war graves .

@@None-zc5vg Because some metall hunter destroying wracks on the bottom of the oceans and doesn't respect that this wracks from WW2 are wargraves. It happened to the grave of the Hms Exeter which is believe it or not,is almost gone, only fragments are on the ground. Some of those dirtbags tried to did the same with the HMS Prince of wales. But the only could break away a large piece of steel and not the whole ship....badly enough... The worst thing about it,is,that if they ever find some pieces of bones of the victims or something they just throw it away...i don't wanna go any further, but now you know,if you didn't....What a fucked up.world we living in... In my opionen they should build a internatiol Navy Force and makin some patrols in those areas where the most wrecks are lying on the ground. There are some areas where those devils can't do nothing it is too deep for them to reach the ships.Like the Bismarck for an example (6000 ,meters or so)But in those areas where they can they should do it.And if they find them doin there evil work, they should sink them with their ship,as a warning for those that try to do the same... However.May the victims of WW1 and 2 rest in peace on the bottom of the seven seas⚓🚢⚰⚓R🕯P🙏

You do understand that these ships are located in highly trafficked merchant shipping lanes and that the nations surrounding these sites were European colonies subjugated and exploited for a couple of centuries and hardly likely to take kindly to Europeans reasserting any kind of dominion in their territory?

We all know who the culprit of the illegal salvaging is, but they can't be stopped as their nation has no respect for anyone. Abhorrent people with no conscience.

My wife's great Grandad went down with this ship. His name is J. J Ashton, I'm an ex Royal Navy ships diver, I'm disscusted with this. Only Royal Navy divers can dive these wrecks, to renew there ensigns, that will constantly fly in there watery grave.

Great job done by Japanese torpedo bombers in Nov 1941 in South China Sea. Prince of Wales had earlier managed to escape by launching smoke screen bombs ,in the Battle of Denmark Straits in May 1941 . The honour of sending HMS Prince of wales to the locker of Old Davy Jones was left for the Japanese.
