H.V. Morton's book 'Atlantic meeting' He described that when he was aboard the POW in 1941 he was shown the residual damage the ship sustained from its encounter with the 'Bismarck'. Lieutenant Dyer-Smith gave the author a trip around the ship ....... "That's where a Bismarck shell came in, it didn't do much damage, but it's left a bump, as you can see". If you can hold of a copy of the book it gives a great insight into life aboard the POW and describes some of the ship's personnel. RIP.

Excellent external video, and i think in some ways it keeps the memory of these actions alive and current in peoples minds. However as an ex RM i find entry within compartments proper of the wreck extremely distasteful, particularly the operating room and sick bay. These areas are very likely to have been full of injured casualties at the time of the ships loss and very likely the last resting place of a number of the crew. Guys by all means dive these wrecks and video the dive. But please don't enter the wreck compartments proper. Always remember these are the last resting place of a lot of young men who died a long way from home. Respect them and where they rest.

Sadly too many have plundered these ships out of greed. Most of the Repulse and Prince of Wales were illegally salvaged around 2014-15. Such disrespect cannot be the ignored, regardless who did it or why

327 Men died as a result of her sinking and are still inside her. Bear that in mind. Maybe better you just stay clear of her wreck altogether.

Fascinating stuff but again - music gets irritating - and the over-clever editing is distracting and the intro with the boxes sliding around almost made me stop watching it. It would be so much better if it was simpler. "Less is More"

What? The? Fuck? Why is there only this music instead of a narrator telling the story behind that?

Now, I know that "de gustibus non disputandum est", and that the beauty is in the ear of beholder, but that industrial noise someone thought "music" is just HORRIBLE (I'm talking the "diving part") and this is the mismatch of century. The only other explanation is that the person who decided to put it here there must be just deaf. It just ruins the video.

First capital ships to be sunk entirely by non surface combatant,,,bomber beats ship every time,,,should had a couple of carriers with them …

Hindsight is 20/20. As you said this was the first time a ship of such caliber was sunk mainly by non surface ships. It did alter naval doctrine moving forward tho.

This is unfortunately a very disrespectful video. You cannot enter these wrecks simply to tour compartments for your own enjoyment. This is a war grave where hundreds of sailors gave their lives for peace in the world. The least you can do is respect their sacrifice by not entering these areas. Imagine if someone opened up one of your relatives coffins just to take a look inside and posted a video of it online. Very disrespectful indeed and this video should be deleted.
