    i've got mine & the removable cab roof was so easy to remove it made sticking in my driver & fireman a breeze

    I once got told off by an ex-GWR chap for saying "ex - ex". He said that the "XX" denotes any number in the series after the class number. In GWR language, the "XX" was always quoted as "hundred". Hence in the spoken word, "61XX class" would have been quoted as "Sixty one hundred class". I think the GWR was unique in this regard. I don't recall seeing "XX" being used as a wildcard designation on other British railways.

    That’s a great model, but I personally still don’t like sound.
