Immediately upon the death of King George VI on 6 February 1952, his daughter Princess Elizabeth became Queen Elizabeth II and the anthem became "God Save the Queen. The current king, Charles III, didn't ascend to the throne until the death of Queen Elizabeth II on 8 September 2022, some 70 years after the death of King George VI. This video is about the death of King George VI in 1952, not Queen Elizabeth II.
