as an argentinian, I'd like to thank ypu for this video (not only because I'm also an Oversimplified fan and this is a great inspired video). The Idea of Hitler and nazis in our country has been so much promoted by the english speaking world that nowadays people really believes that our country as a big white population because we all have a german ancestor who is link with nazism. It has reached a point in which people who don't know anything about argentinian history are claiming that we did a "genocide" with our black population. being this a statement use, not only for first world racist woke people who cannot comprehend how a latin country has white people, but also, conspiranoic people who use this as a reason for why Hitler decided Argentina over other destination. Peron did bring Nazi's scientist to the country, since he wanted the same as USA, the USSR and the rest of the allies wanted from this kind of people. He also bring in some low officials (but some of there werent really low like you said in your video). The idea that Argentina was a paradise to Nazis came mostly from the USA. United State was against Peron and wanted to relate him with nazism. And while this claims by USA where partly right, the amount of Nazis who flew to Argentina cannot even be compared with the amount that went to USA (Disclaimer: I dont support Peron, but its a fact that USA did this in order to stop Peron from being President again). Also, Argentina does not have a white population due to Germany, in fact, german ancestor in argentina are as common as french ancestors, and while you would think "well thats must be high" you would be wrong: Spain has many more here than France and Germany combine, and Spain is not even the number 1, that being Italy. Nowadays, half of Argentina population (or even more) have an Italian ancestor. An while I dont want to get in the bullshit of "Black genocide in Argentina" since the video isnt about that, if you, the reader of this comment, really believes that crap, I encourage you to grab a book and read Argentina history instead of the New York Times and the BBC. It is really easy to showcase how stupid that argument is and there is not even a solid argument to it. I ramble too much. I wanted to thank you beacuse it isnt so common to find an English video saying what really happened to Hitler, and it really help so that other english speaker knows what happened.

I remember a count of my Romanian great grandfather from my mother's grandma side who fought on the Soviet side after he surrendered to them, he was actually at The Battle of Berlin and got like aprox 20+ km's near where the bunker was located before he was arrested by Soviets.

@@martind5653 yes because he was previously in the part of the axis when he was in the operation Barbarossa, he went from Iași to Odessa and then Stalingrad where he was in the division that was responsible from protecting the Nazis from encirclement, after that failed he managed to escape where he managed to go to Kiev and later has he reached Romania he was overan by the Soviets, he either had to join them or die. The reasson why he was arested in the first place was because of the former implications with him in the Odessa massacre even though he was forced by officers to do certain things.
