Are you joking? The ref missed all the Hawkins rabbit punches. The constant holding. The forearm to Hitchins face a few times. Even Joe Goosen called out the rabbit punches.

Do you think a ref that old didn’t see that. What he also seen was hitchins dominating. Those so call rabbit punches is called experience. When two young fighter are fighting, an experience ref whos not trying to take over the show, let’s them figure it out, figure it out. These guys were almost equal, just one guy dominated more. Gussom is kind of hard of fighters too, he’s a avid pro trainer. He commented on gloves, in which, unless you’re gloves are rigged or over the agreed weight, fighters want to fight, not talk about gloves

Everytime Hawkins threw a punch 'Hitchins would quick step out of it like he's in Elden Ring. Needs to work on his power though.

Yep he out classed hawkins

No slipping or weaving in pocket play by hitchins , a lot of backing up as main method of defense , his top quality is athletic ability and reflexes .

Once Hitchens gets in the habit of sitting on his punches he will be more complete. Hes got great timing and as mentioned during the telecast has a good change up with his speed which makes it hard to defend and mount your own offense. Also he needs to learn to press a little more and not depend on fighting on his back foot. Hes phenomenal at staying the backfoot and being comfortable but needs to press a little more when appropriate. His timing and instincts are such if hes coached to press a little more he will be really hard to beat for anyone and will be a world champ

Hitchins vs Matias would be a top notch fight.

Hutchins pace and offense is extremely similar to Mayweather. The way he throws shots at different speeds from the exact same spots and Hawkins doesnt know when to parry or when to slip. A couple of times Hawkins slipped the wrong way right into a punch. Hitchens. It reminded me alot of Canelo vs Mayweather, where Mayweather turned Canelo into a B level sparring partner.

Malik who's a good prospect still, fights without pace he gives these guys time to think and rest, i think that's his biggest problem, he's gotta keep the jab on fighters during lulls in action, now fighting a guy like Subriel Matias you don't have to worry about pace you're fighting at his pace, but a busier jab helps him get back into contention.

Didnt see a bum, Hawkins was game with a good jab with power and good overall boxing ability. He just lost to a guy who is special and real sharp.
