Didn't know there are practicals in the movie. I must watch it again I think.
Love this series.
The pins visual was meant to be a British Plug. So a very British joke.

That was a casting in Bill Pearson´s model shop. Steve worked for Bill. The painted filming miniature was taken.
Fantastic modeling and production work.
Great disservice to the materials (books)

Lest we forget, it was originally a radio series. The books came later.
My favorite film!!!!!

Listen to the radio series. The film does not do Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy justice.
Yep, think I'd be miffed if all that hard work had been slung, too. I understand that's the nature of movie making, it's just such a shame. Like throwing art away.
I'd love to hear more about the photography side. Lenses, cameras, scales, lighting.

@@piercefilm I didn't even realize they did their own shots until your series. I just assumed it was a second unit or something.
My favorite ‼️

A great plug for the film😂

If he did they are sold off by now. Bill Pearson passed away a few years ago, unfortunately.

Someone stole the figure of a Vogon. I think it was Startibartfast who took it.
I'm a big fan of the books, BBC radio shows and the TV series. Hated the movie.

Actually, I think it's ubiquitous in western culture, if not the whole world: Consumerism.
I got really excited until I saw it was for that dreadful movie and not the TV series (Sorry)

The miniatures are still great, though!
