Thanks....yes this extra dipper has been used before...I have videos on here of it fitted and used on a Komatsu PC45..the dipper yellow in those vids but it is the same one.

After it has dried out,it is dug out and spread,and then the hole is ready for some more from the river.

There both about the same......... komatsu being the heaviest at 4.930 kg had the edge on stability, hitachi at 4.660 kg in the lifting test vid we made just had the edge on power.

My mate has had to get used to the controls as the extra dipper was controlled on the foot pedal and the bucket on the levers with the Komatsu,so he has had to get used to it the other way around now.

Love to watch all your digging and ditching vedeo it was a great vedeo's sir thank for sheare but which country you from sir?(sorry for my bad english please correct me if not wright?)

That must be weird at first controlling the bucket with your foot pedal. Was the setup same with the komatsu? Becouse your doing great with it.

That's a really good extra part of the excavator and it would work even better on Mecalac

That is clever system, never seen those in here finland. My friend owns excavator like that, should show him this video.

haha great vid, bet it took some getting used to, using the bucket ram as another dipper arm lol a 13 tonner would of been alot better though, looks like theres enough room for one

i was waiting for this i saw you had the spare dipper in the river bank repair video. how does the zaxis compare to the old komatsu when it comes to stability and power with the extra reach?

Thanks....there was a bit more silt to remove by the riverbank repair.

Looks and sounds like it could handle a bigger bucket ?

What happens to all that muck after he's done cleaning out the river?

Wouldn't a rake bucket be better for this ?
