We had one, and it did worked for 30+ years. I even remembered The Motor Noises. Believe it or not it still cleans better than my new Samsung 1000$ machine.

I noticed the following: The longer the engine runs, the cleaner the clothes will be. This model from Hitachi is excellent, and very similar to the VH-5200B2 model from Toshiba.

Naww my nanna had this machine when my mum was a little girl (shes a 1970 model) my nanna had this machine will 2022 when she went into a home i now have it and its my daily machine
