Here's a life/academia question for you, I'm planning to continue to Ph.D. study in Japan, so I'm wondering how should I go about contacting professors of potential laboratories? What sort of questions should I ask or information should I provide, how should I state my interests in their lab's research topics, any specific things that I should avoid, etc. Great videos by the way, you're sooooo much better than my chemistry professor. Looking forwards to future content.

We always take for granted that positive and negative charges pull each other, and same charges repel. What is the reason behind this phenomena?
