    thanks for the info!..i wish more people knew even a little bit about bartolome. tbh i just learned about what he did and stood for later in his life and it seems to me like he should be a more "popular" historical figure. its some interesting stuff.

    Excellent video mate. Bartolomé de las Casas was a 16th-century Spanish landowner, friar, priest, and bishop, famed as a historian and social reformer. He arrived in Hispaniola as a layman then became a Dominican friar and priest. He also spoke out against the mistreatment of Native Americans of how they were treated as slaves by some not all but some greedy Spanish colonists.
