Ellice McFarlane I'm all for heroes killing villains because it's the pragmatic thing to do, but I guess they making killing villains a bad thing in the comics because they want to keep them alive for a future plot. Imagine if batman killed the Joker the first time he had the opportunity to, or superman with Lex.

Ellice McFarlane because they stop those villains because they are killers. Nearly all of them have a reason to kill. So if you kill them too, even if your reason is because they are killers, you wouldn't have the right to blame them being one yourself. Maybe they have a "valid" reason to kill too. But it shouldn't be done. It seems like our reason to kill them would be valid too, but they're maybe acting no differently than that. So either they're not guilty because we do the same thing, killing them for a reason, or the villains and you are all guilty for murdering people. It's a compllicated issue. Because where do you draw the line of when killing someone is right or wrong?

Maybe because the heroes have a fuck ton more opportunities to defeat the villain without killing them, and you never know what psychological effect killing somebody is going to have on you (even if they are villains) look for example the Injustice comics, a cop may kill somebody but that may affect severely his life too you know?

Its the same with Reverse Flash being shot by Thomas Wayne at flashpoint lol. Theyre speedsters but their perceptions limited to regular humans as in if they cant see it/not paying attention, it will impact them.

Honestly, the CW should do something like this. Wally west grave is near oliver's grave. Barry wears the same suit Savitar wore. Grodd is a speedster and many more. Would be so epic.

It’s more a scavenger hunt type thing. If you looks at episode names and the dialogue then it reveals that it wasn’t a time remnant which I think makes their approach pretty cool and interesting. (Cw really gotta step it up though 😅)

Berry, Savitar and all those speedstars are a threat to all humanity. The greatest of them all is kid Allen who when back in time and changed the world creating another timeline and instead of living in the new timeline, he send his prisoner back in time to go and kill his mother. In the new timeline, Berry is the one who killed his own mother. He was told that when you break the timeline you can't fix it back. You can't bring thing back to how they once where. All you can do is live with the consequences of playing God. I just don't know why he doesn't face strong philosophical resistance in the show. Someone should always stand up to him and tell him to stop playing God and messing with people's lives like it is his right to make people's life whatever he wants them to be. There should be an organization whose Job is to kill the Flash or prevent him from altering the timeline. It the timeline is to be altered, it should be debated and the risks and reward carefully weighed. Not some kid who uses his power to make himself happy, damn everyone else.

the cw flash never fully copies the villians from the comics, they always throw in twists to make it unique. there is no 1 villian that is exactly the same in the comics as they are in the show. they even sometimes mix together villians and just make it one villian if im not mistaken.

Technically this is in the future barry doesn’t realize his full potential until then. So currently in the present day Wally is the fastest , but not in the future. Because barry is the fastest in the future and will continue to get faster.

I got this comic from Comic-Con. So glad I found it as it was awesome

I so love this version of Barry. Unhinged, Broken and Raged. This is humanises Superheroes. They also feel profound pain and break, and that leads to catastrophic consequences. They become their own worse enemy.

I like him n I wish some heroes were like him , but you don't have to kill everyone but the ones that you have tried to save but don't want you to save them or don't want to change there evil ways should die

I actually wish Season 3 with Savitar given us an episode where he was in a dystopian future. Where he does everything and anything to save his family, but the tragedies (i.e. death of Captain Cold) of where we was from causes him to go insane and furious at the current version of Barry because he didn't save everybody. So, in his mind, Future Flash decides to kill Iris not only to preserve his existence but to make our current version of Barry to be a better hero.

@@UnderseaAdventures Yeah, I agree with you. I liked Savitar during Season 3. He was a broken man, but the reason for him being broken could be the loss of people in his life. The death of Eddie, Ronnie, his parents, Captain Cold, all replayed in his mind while being trapped in the Speed Force. Then once Barry released Savitar from the Speed Force, he felt that he had to kill Iris to make sure all those other tragedies doesn't happen to present day Barry.

He didnt really do anything that bad. He was killing evil people who would have caused alot of damage. So many villains escape prison and wind up killing more ppl. Imagine how better the future would be. If he just took out every villain before they could harm innocents

They actually retconned it so Daniel is Wally's dad. So, Barry did in fact murder Wally's dad in this timeline. Also the timeline that future flash came from was erased by DC rebirth/dcyou.
