Thats an old Bleach thing man. Captain Kurotsuchi did that in the Bleach manga in like 2003. He froze this guys senses so every second was like a year to him and then he stabbed him through the hand the then the eye and left his blade there lol. So that dude felt like 100,000 years of being stabbed through the eyes and the hand.

This is probably one of the greatest Flash stories to date, I loved how for once we got to see a hero go over the edge with Wally trapping Inertia in a living hell. I also like the follow up with the Rogues hunting down and killing Intertia when he managed to escape.

this story still makes me feel. the flash, no matter what one, is one of those characters who is just too much of a hero for his own good

would be cool if Bart came back in time, found out about Barry, and being from the future knows how to get him out without repercussions... everything back to status quo with Bart around as Impulse here to stop an even bigger event. It would make Wallys character pretty redundant though which would be a shame, he's been growing on me since he got his speed... I can relate to his positive attitude and just overall happiness about having powers. Lately it's been more of a burden for Barry while Wally genuinely loves being a speedster.

I liked Impulse in Young Justice and I think that it would be interesting if he showed up on the CW Flash series. both Impulse and Inertia could make an interesting and confusing story line.

His come back in Crisis was legendary. It seems like every time DC kills off a character for the fans they come back even better than before. First Jason Todd, then Bart Allen.

Well done . As always great narrative, I'm really considering just getting some graphics already so I can really read and know the dialogue. I own a copy of blackest night but it's on a tablet .

So what you're saying is, that inertia died 3-7 days later from not be able to eat or drink anything. Unless someone has been coming back and force feeding him stuff. After all, they only took away his ability to move, not his need to eat, drink, and do other bodily stuff.

But how? Even if the cells aren't moving, which is the only thing stealing his speed would do, they would still need to take in energy and resources. And since the cells can't move, they would be unable to get any at all. This would cause a LOT of problems in his body, very quickly.

I know that's how they want you to think, Cake#, but that's not how Flash's powers actually work. They steal speed, not time. I know it's a minor little thing you're not suppost to notice or care about, but still. Stuff like this bugs the hell out of me. DC has been around for a Loooooong time guys. By now you should be able to keep things like this from happening!

Wally didn't return because he wants to check on Bart. The Lightning Saga was a pretty complicated event involving the Legion of Superheroes. At least...mention that lol

I'm an O.G. Flash fan. Back when DC decided to retire Wally and make Bart the Flash I thought it was one of the worse ideas DC ever had. Story/character wise and also marketing. Bart was the shit! (pardon my language) Great successor as Kid Flash and really good character development. From being immature perfectly named Impulse to getting his knee shotgunned and stepping up as an older teen to become the new kid flash taking on the legacy name. It was far to early to make him the Flash and age him? ugh! It was a bad decision. I'm guessing it came down to one guy in charge that pushed for it and is now working for Donald Trump. His Kid Flash had more stories left to be told and they ruined it. The only thing I liked about his Flash is when the Rogues killed Inertia and left a note. Gotta love the Rogues.

They also make a reference to Bart Allen in the cow show when Barry gets temporal amnesia and goes by Bart Allen instead of barry
